Calgary = Cowtown, southern Alberta, Babarlish, Calgary Flames, chinook winds.

Edmonton = Deadmonton, northern Alberta, Peter, Edmonton Oilers, no chinook winds.

Barbarlish, I'm delighted to hear your from Calgary.
You must know I'm NOT one of those crazy Calgarian, or Crazy Edmontonian, that takes the rivalry to a serious extreme.
I like to keep it on a friendly, good natured basis.
Some people from both cities get carried away.
My best friend, and his family were born
and raised in Calgary, but now because of work, have lived in Edmonton for ten yrs, and believe me, when we get together, we each try to hold our own.
So don't take any of my Calgary jokes to serious,
Sign me as an Edmontonian, that loves the city of Calgary, but plse don't tell anyone, or I'll get kicked out of Edmonton,
Let me conclude by saying, it is my hope and wish for Calgary to someday get a professional Football, and Hockey teams, but until then, you can look north, and see the city of champions.:wavey:

Yes, I'm in Cowtown until my mission is over. :smokin: I'm just a human decoy. I've been dropped here by the mothership to study the yahoos :)

The Calgary Bic Lighters (flames)
choked again last night, down 3 nothing, they pulled there goalie, and scored on there own net.should have kept the goalie out, and tried for the hat trick.:lol:

Don't worry too much about the warm weather predictions. In Calgary if you don't like the weather, just wait 15 minutes. The weather here fluctuates so quickly that you cannot go anywhere without your polar parka and your string bikini. (in Cowtown there is nowhere to hide) :blush:

We're just too close to the Rockies to give any credibility to the 5 days weather forecasts. Looking further than tomorrow's forecast is too often a waste of time (and hopes).
