Human beings live with hope. We hope that an event occurs when we cannot force it to happen. Usually it is something that is very challenging. Hoping to win the lottery is one of the most dreams, pardon me, hope that many people have. They should have this hope if and only if fairness can be proven in the way the game is played.
Random events seem to be natural events that we cannot predict in a precise manner. No matter what we do we seem to be always wrong in many times. Does this mean that we should not have hope in an appearance of a random event? Probably not. As long as the game or the observed series of events follow natural law we can have hope. The lottery 649 tells us that we can hope to win with a chance of 1 over 14 million. Even if this was 1 over 1 billion we still can hope because it is just not zero (0).
My fear is the human factor. I mean even if the nature allows me to dream, to have hope in giving me a change of 1 over 1 billion, simply said it could happened, the nasty human factor comes and robes me of that hope. It just simply puts my chance to zero (0) in deciding what numbers should come. This means no matter how intelligent, smart I am, the nasty human factor will always destroy what the nature gives me, namely 1 over 1 billion and that is not zero.
All my efforts are vain as long as the human factor exists. If there is a possibility that the human factor exists in the game, then I should not run after the wind.
