Here's something to think about: How come you never see a headline like `Psychic Wins Lottery
- Jay Leno

I wondered that myself and the only lodgical solution I could come up with is that they can foresee what all that money would do to their lives and therefore don't ever want to win??

Growing old is mandatory, growing wise is optional..

Everybody's got a dream....GO! LEAFS! GO!

Or they see how wining that money will make others treat them different and keep their wins on the qt.

Once read an artical in Westward which is a free publication in Colorado. This gal worked for a psysic phone line and a gal called that was retarded wanting to know where her dog was.

Basically her job was just to keep the people on the line as long as possible.

As for quotes, "Is it to late to learn how to love and forget how to hate." Ozzy

"Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar." --Drew Carey this quote was from a gal with the below sig line

"Save the Earth. It's the only planet with chocolate."

Also read a good one about the fragrance lingering on the hand that gives you a rose. They said it was a
French proberb. And how about those 50 French bonds anyone else hear about that yesterday?

Consider this. Why is it when you call a psychic the first question asked is, "What is your name?" Dammit, they're psychics - they ought to know.

Knowing!

We know, you know, that you would like to know but if you know what we know then the knowing will be your undoing.

Can you really cope with knowing that tomorrow will be yours or a loved ones last day?

Better to know what you don't know - it's less traumatic.

Yes, I know what you just thought - if you feel a twinge in the middle of the night combined with a convulsive movement you will know it has been sucessfully redirected.

''Before I tell something I'd like to say something...''

Why do we go down to look up at the sky? :spiny:

ps There was an expression I used to like in my younger days as I hitchhiked around the World -

"Been down so long it looks like up to me!"

I forget the author.

Hi All,

When I was Younger I used to like Climbing Trees. My Mum came out with a Classic one day that has Always Stuck in my Mind, she said, and I Quote, "If you Fall out that Tree and Break your Leg Don't come Running to me", whats that all about.

All the Best.

Well, I think this is nice talking about our Moms.

When I was young my Mom, now departed, (Blessings in abundance be upon her) used to use a word - obstropolous - for someone that was being annoying and arguementative.

Well, it was only in my late teens that I managed to find a word that came close - obstreperous.

Have you been obstreperous lately or indeed obstropolous? (Maybe it's Greek!)

I always remember this one from reading about Mahatmur Ghandi as a teenager.

Steven Wright quote ...

_ I rented a lottery ticket. It won a million dollars. But I had to give it back.

Entitlements when renting Lottery Tickets.

Brad

I seriously considered this scenario and concluded that the renter was entitled to whatever benefits came his way during the rental period. So he should have the million dollars.

Any requirement to return the ticket should not present too many problems as after the applicable draw the overwhelming majority would be losing tickets, worthless and costly for anyone to return them and for the rentor to dispose of them.

However, if you happened to be passing by you could casually toss them a $100 note and say sue me for any waste paper value exceeding this amount.:)

If religion is the opium of the masses then rock and roll must be cocaine.

"When I was stone blue rock and roll really helped me through"

Foghat

"Rock and roll is my religion and my . . . ." Not sure if it is love or law and perhpas he even sings it both ways. Ozzy

"I'm a window washer who is a fraid of heights" You Call That Art?

Get some MP3 while you can. You Call That Art? may be dead don't know how much longer website will be up.
