question about super 7

the super 7 has been giving out huge jackpot for the last 2 weeks. 22mil and 25mil.
and yet the jackpot estimated for next friday will still be a 27mil jackpot, what's that all about, shouldn't they start with 2.5 mil???

That's the way they use up all the unclaimed prizes that can no longer be claimed because they haven't been claimed in time- They usually use that up once a year and then they run it over a few weeks. it also adds to the lottery excitement by having hugh jackpots. Also, if you notice on some lotteries e.g. BC49-they don't have carried over jackpots like 649 and Super Seven do. Then take a closer look, what is the winning ratio? Notice that BC 49 can go for weeks without anyone winning - so, how is that money used? There, no doubt are other games that don't seem to have many or "big" winners, so what do they do with that money, for example those scratch & lose tickets? I think its just their way of increasing hipe/sales and using monies that should be put into prizes. The ticket sales go through the roof when the prizes are hugh - Most people put out a dollar or two for an elusive dream - you never know - luck could be with you!
Anyway, that is my theory and I'm sticking to it!!!!
