Powerball Test Data

What does anyone think about using the test data in Powerball? They do pre-testing and post-testing and it is posted on the Powerball webpage. There was some discussion on another forum saying it is useless.

it seems to me that test draws would be part of the entire dataset.

say you've been waiting ages for a certain number to drop, if it dropped in a test draw, it could explain why it might be absent longer from the live draw history.
