Please... I need LD (25-15-14-14)

Yup, logically this specific equation comes from such technical papers too. If it says 86, then the current lowest bound is 86 for this wheel (unless someone else has found a more accurate bound). It still might not be possible to reach even that and maybe there is another even more specific formula that indicates a higher bound too. We simply don't know the exact lowest real bound unless we can prove it somehow.

Havent tried it but you just might need to put "," in the 340 between Q%(4); Q%(5);?

I’m not that familiar with BASIC but your algorhythm looks nice and is as short as possible. Therefore it seems your programming skills are quite fine, which again means you might need just a few weeks for learning a programming language (VB or such) that is more functional while working with contemporary computers….

You are spot on, - something I hadn't noticed thank you.

Cheers!

Hi,

In this case 22,6,3,3=77 both formulas agree. Then this is minimum possible.

Regards

Grandmaster - 22-6-3-3=77 yes is a perfect system.

v22, contains exactly 1540 trebles.
A single line of 6 numbers contain 20 trebles.
1540/20 = 77 - it can not be further reduced.

Rgds..
