Playing LD and a series...

When you play either a keno game or a Banco game always think of playing some last digit numbers + a series...a series is a decades like the 30's,40's,50's,60's....these often clusters and you can see these trends coming...
Let me give you an example ...yesterday the numbers in the Québec Banco were...
0405 08 15 16 21 22 23 24 3438 41 43 44 51 52 54 55 57 58

Now if somebody had played the 50 series along with LD 04...that person would have got 10 good numbers ...but by using a 20 numbers wheel or even better a 15 numbers wheel...chances are high that more good numbers would have been caught there...
In the past I have won a lot of nice prizes using this approach...remember that playing it for at least 5 draws is in my opinion the way to get the best out of it!

As you can see if somebody had played the LD's 06 with the 20 series or with the 40 series ...that person would be in the money for sure again....

But besides that ...playing LD's alone and going for 03,04 or 05 good numbers is the best way to get some cash playing this game...

Another great way to get your share is to play the LDs and add to your picks one number from the previous draw...knowing that you will have some repeaters you have to pick only one from a pool of 20 or less if they are already included whithin your LDs..what I usually do is play 2 or 3 different LDs but only one group of LD per wheel and I alternate 2 or 3 single numbers from the pool made by the last draw. I'm using this wheel for the Québec Banco...

I can play the 07 possible LD numbers and I add to it one from the previous draw cost is only 4$ but I often bid for 5$ a line ...6 correct numbers on a line is 1000$ of gain if you bid for 1$ and 5/6 is 25$ gain if you bid for 1$....lets say that I have been going to the Lotto office quite a few time last year..They know who Dennis Bassboss is down there..You can also get rid of the first line by filtering it because 6 LDs could come up but not as often as 5 LDs....so the cost goes down to
3$ to play the wheel...I also know some people that are using the 6/49 full wheel 28 lines and they filter every lines that has more than 5 LDs.
What is wonderfull with the 6/7 wheel is its low cost and you can alternate a few LDs....a friend of mine plays up to 10 numbers from the previous draw but only as a single number in his wheel and he plays many seperates wheels with two sets of LDs...I suggest you start by going for a few wins and after you can go for more bigger wheels playing this way....

Once again you can see that 5 LDs 07 and the 50 serie or decade came up last night....

I would like to see some keno players track this down on their various lotteries and post it here...it would be very interesting to see if this thing is happenning in other similar lotteries... so far in the last two weeks I have shown that it does happen quite a few time in the Québec Banco...

LD´s and series

Hi Dennis, this is the LD´s and the series hits from the daily keno drawings in Sweden between 2000-01-01 - 2001-12-31 (731 drawings),
hope you understans that i mean 1,11,21,31,41,51,61 - 2,12,22,32,42,52,62 and so on,
a question, where to break the series ? should it be between 30-39 or 31-40 ? Decades means tens in Greek, but what ten do you mean, ten as all ten that begins with 3 (example, 30-39). I dont think it matters because in the long run it should be almost equal, ill check it up later, if its equal that is the problem will be that i must test 0-9, 10-19, 20,29.........but the 0 doesnt get drawn, but the error will only be between 0-9

This is really something to think about, im thinking about your suggestion about playing small in the beggining, think ill start with that. btw repeaters from yesterday whas,
5 6 8 20 21 35 50 53 55 57 = 10, this doesnt happen so often i think. Any suggestion of how to find any software that can check this out ? Importing drawings from a txt file is almost a must. If you know you can mail me the softwares name, or if it is allowed to name software names on the board do it

I am not using much for Banco here which is Keno by the way, and I can't put my e-mail here as it would be against the board rules...but LT might give us a hand here on finding some, I know that a few of them gives us the hot , cold and due + the databases of the draws but Windows Lotto pro has a feature that can help you check the numbers from draws to draws...in the database history if I recall...I also know that Combomaniac posted some links to free stuff on this board just search through his posts you might find something there and maybe some other players could give you more on this also...I will look for it don't worry....
Starting slow is the way...because the trends has to be there in order to win I'll give you a clue here when a decade strikes usually they have a tendancy to cluster...and I can see that the 01 decade , the 02...09...10 are coming up the most often for 5 good numbers in your lottery. I usually count a decade starting at 01 to 10 so you get 7 equals decades...you will see that having 4 LDs is not rare.Tell me of what kind of wheel you are using...
Thanks for replying to my demands I find it really interesting and we might see some better ways of catching them if we follow that lead!

Yes for sure ... but I have not had much luck locating a FREE and good software for Keno/Banco or Pick 3-4 over the years. VesaBets Pick 3-4 is almost beyond excellent .. but not free and of course all of the big software players with the exception of Gail Howard have their Keno programs.
But where to find a good free program has been elusive
I'll keep looking

I dont have any wheel yet, tried alot but all of them whas to expensive to play.
There is a program called covermaster that should do good wheels, maybe its time to download it and see if its as good as everyone says

so it seems whe have a good method thanks to you, now its only the good wheeling question to solve.

How many lines should a good wheel include ? lets take the 5 as an example, here in Sweden it gives 1.000kr (around $100) at all numbers correct. say that i have a good wheel with 10 lines, that means it will cost 50kr to play. I must get all 5 correct within 20 days to cover my expences. Im playing the decades 41-50 that will give me numbers drawn above 5 95 times in 731 draws, 731/95=every 7.69 days. That means i will have three chances (-1or2 day) of getting full score. Whats the lowest known wheel that covers 10numbers with 5 anf guarantees 4 ?
To cover all 10 numbers with 5 guaranted 5 is with 252 lines.
am i confusing you ? If anyone is wondering im talking about Keno

You will have to go with an abbreviated wheel here if you aim for 10....I have a tons of wheels but Why going for 10 right away???
I would rather try to get 6 first and 7 and 8 with the profit earned than I would go for more....Last night another 05 LDs came up here .....but I miss target on it by only one LD....I played LD 04...
But maybe you are right too ...why not going for 10 right from the bat...the 6/7 wheels or the 7/8 wheels could act as DN here and you might be able to play and go for ten at a lesser price. One thing is sure you will get 5 LDs on some occasions and it has to pay on these occasions....

You can also filter some sets ...let me explain it is very rare that 5 of the same LDs that come up are 5 consecutives...so you toss out every lines that gives you 5 consecutives LDs ..but you can also push your luck a little further filtering the 4 consecutives LDs sets ....I do it sometimes and I got nailed a few times doing it too but the long term cost/earning is not affected by it . The same thing can be done out of the 10 numbers from a decade only allowing triple or double consecutives in your set ,you than toss out all the lines that doesn't match these criterias...It reduces the cost of playing the game drastically. One last thing if you go for 8 numbers or 09 it will reduces even more your set and you might be able to wheel it again and again...but don't hesitate to skip some draws when it is most unlikely that you will hit ..it is also part of the gamble!
