Syndicate truths
There is a fellow on another site, John G , whose posts I occasionally read. His attitude toward syndicates is the same as mine (I think most are shameless rip-offs, esp. v*d) but he goes a lot further in his descriptions of scams like v*d try to pull on unsuspecting victims. Maybe I should get his permission first but I don't think he'll mind if I re-post a couple of his latest
Two of the imbeciles who got suckered into the "v*d" thievery met in their Remedial English class.
One of them, whose name should have been Sh*thead because he was one, was carrying a sack.
The other one, whose mother had to escort him to the class sessions
and pin a "return to" note on his coat because of his amazing lack of intelligence,
and who had earned the nickname Braindead over and over all his life
even before v*d nailed the stupid bastard, wiped some drool off his chin
and asked Sh*thead what he had in the sack.
Sh*thead said "Donuts!"
Braindead said "If I guess how many, will you give me one?"
Sh*thead said "You're so dumb, but if you guess how many I'll give you both of them.
Braindead said "Six?"
Then they both asked the v*d thieves if it was OK for them to
send in even more of their dole money.
The next one is a reply to a comment of another poster, along the lines of LottoMagic's ... ehm ... thinly guised attempt

to pursue
his goal of spreading the good word:
Comment -
Some good syndicates out there you just need
to choose the right one.
Response -
That's easy. The first step is to decide that you don't want to
win a jackpot. The second step is to find one that doesn't take
one cent of your money for commissions or whatever they call it.
All others are The Stupid Way To Play, except for those that run
a pyramid scam, which is The Idiotic Way To Play.
I think LottoMagic is only here looking for Sh*thead and Braindead for his pseudo-pyramid
