yup, 20 picks or below is my rule.

pretty wild how some people spend $45 on 45 picks huh?

I usually play 4 to 10 picks, or upwards of 20 is I can't boildown better than 5digits.

if I spend $20 on picks, it is with the intent that at the very least I'll make about $10 if I only hit the boxed side of a "straight/box" split bet. the lowest box only split payout I got was $32. I think the lowest I saw was $24 tho on a triple or trendy pick like 911 or 357 bleh!
