show on your browser

From the menu of the browser
use the Save File As...

remove the .txt extention and save
on the directory WINDOWS/System32/Drivers/ETC

so that you will replace the old HOSTS file
with the new...

yes Nick some criminal a few weeks back tried to use my host file to redirect www.paypal.com to their address, that's why i now use this free program that as well as other things detects to see if anything changes your hosts file, works pretty good.

Why not just make your hosts file read only? Most scripts are "smart" enough to change the read only bit and will error if it is set.
