Has anybody noticed this new draw?

In the style of the hospital lotteries.
500,000 tickets $20 each, winners come from the tickets sold.
They have a counter on the site...ie if the sales are slow and the tickets aren't sold out by the deadline then the odds are better.

PRIZE.......... WINNERS....... ODDS
$1,000,000...... 4............. 1 in 125,000
$100,000........ 5............. 1 in 100,000
$1,000 ..........500 ............1 in 1,000

Draw is on Dec 31st at 9p.m.... doesn't say, but I guess you can buy tickets up to the last minute.

Is it a good deal?.... for $20 I can get 40 Ontario 49 ticekts (1 in 350,000 odds of winning $1 million).. so the millionaire raffle is a good deal to me..what do you think out there?

May get a few more before the draw deadline.
From my calculations it's better odds than anything going on right now, including hospital lotteries etc.

I bought $60.00 worth, close to half sold so far, I have a feeling they will sell most of the tickets but with the jackpots for 649/super 7 being high there may be a few thousand left over..(let's hope).
Kind of wish they had more $100 000 prizes.

I dont think they will sell out because december is a month that demands a lot of money,christmas,new years,birthdays,rent,bills etc lol.I think there will be at least 100,000 tickets remaining which means its going to be 1 in 100,000.Even better!I got 1 ticket so far but I'll probably pick up 2 or 3 more,never know. lol

Is there a chance they will adjust the prices if they don't sell all the tickets
- if the sell all they get to keep 50%, they might keep the house -edge intact
if they don't sell all.

Yeah,that is a possibility but it would anger me because I payed 20$ for mine and besides,I was kind of hoping that for once they would give the players a little edge,christams present you know lol.What I do know is that some people are going to start the new year very very happy.Even if they do sell out,the odds are still pretty amazing when you think about it.A question roger,remember that millionaire for life game,who won the top prize?They never published a winner on the olg website and I'm curious.Merry Christams and a happy new year,and indeed it could be a very happy new year

No,obviously lol and when you think about it thats like being inside 2 crowded skydomes and out of all those people only 1 person is selected to be a winner.Its crazy but still better than chasing 1 in 14 million odds lol,but hey people win so you never know right so thats why we play,to find out.I dont think that they will cancel the draw because on their website it advertises"guaranteed to be won" so I guess the sales dont matter.Yup,keno is no walk in the park either as with pick 3 but the best odds ever to win a million,well thats exciting.What else to say,um how about that millionaire for life winner?I never seen a picture or read an article about him/her have you?I cant remember how long ago the draw was so maybe the winner never came forward to claim the prize but still,who is that mysterious fella?lol.Well,merry christams and a happy new year(damn these days are flying by).

Oh yeah another thing,its always people with 1 ticket that win lol so I might just stick with the only 1 I got but I'll probably buy another one.So does the machine automatically select the numbers,is it like a slot machine type deal where it stops randomy at every line or what?I dont think some guy is going to be drawing from a hat lol.

Dec 29th,as of 1:34pm,114428 tickets remain.Well,like I suspected all along they wont sell out and my estimation of at least 100,000 tickets not sold looks to be pretty accurate.Good luck and wow what a way that would be to start the new year lol.I'm not greedy though,wouldnt mind the 100gs lol. :finger:

all 15 of my tickets were losers...

when i updated at 855pm or so, they still had 20000 tickets left, but prior they sold about 60000 in the last 24hrs.......... and surprisingly, most millionaire prizes were all 400000something series, cept one, no in between.

wish we had more of these much more often.

where did you find the full numbers? i only found the million prizes and the hundred thou prizes.. i cant find the full draws. where do you find it on OLG
