Just had a retailer screw up my encore on a free ticket. Before I could
say "I like to play encore"; ticket was already printed. Found out from
this retailer that you can't cancel a winning ticket, and if the retailer
phoned OLG to rescind the ticket, new numbers would appear.

UGH!

I would suggest to OLG to print only played and paid for Encore
numbers. If you don't play Encore leave that area Blank.

Isn't it a threat in getting the extra dollar from you by showing the non played
number.

I thought OLG is improving their system?

I am not sure I understand what you mean:
"you can't cancel a winning ticket " ?

1- you can cancel any ticket within 30 minutes of purchase
no need for retailer to call OLG
2- you can play encore manually

I am not sure I understand what you mean:

-you can cancel any ticket within 30 minutes of purchase -
no need for retailer to call OLG

You are right as far as a purchased ticket goes, but
this was a winning or free ticket. There is no way to
rescind that ticket.
