Now I'm confused. Do we have an Ont 6/49 thread or not?
What goes where?
I started up one last draw but it didn't get a lot of attention.
Meanwhile people were posting anywhere.

Not much to discuss for me. I will therefore post my piks in other thread. I base my piks on what seems trend, hot or due in general for all local lottos observed from my tiny corner of the time/space universe.

Re: Previous Posting:
Um, which other thread? The "other discussions thread"? Or should I start a piks thread for Ontario....?

Hi, quick look and I see:

1. On 49 June 16 Piks
2. June 16 Piks Provincial..
3. June 16 DIscussions
4. Ontario Discussion
5. June 19 Picks

Can I suggest:

1. (date) ALL Provincial Picks - all provinces, ident province in post, only picks with short comments, no other 'verbage' till after draw close
2. (date) ON49 Discussion - anything ON49 goes, but only ON49

If anyone wants to discuss (or monologue) other provincial lottos they can start another thread, but clearly label it as (date) 'lotto name' Discussion

Try to keep the thread title format the same for easier recognition.

ON49 has the most posting, although not as many as expected yet, Atlantic has lots of posts by mainly one poster, Lottario has a few I haven't seen much if any discussion, haven't seen any BC stuff (I'm thro with that lotto, ha-ha), so 2 or 3 threads per draw is probably enough for now.

My 4 cents (used to be 2)

Hey Chuck, I'm not picking much these days (time), hopefully that will change soon tho. Just making suggestions

P.S. Combo and I messed up quite a few threads in the past, just ask LT ;)

Just some thoughts

Enlarging, coloring and bolding text looks good in birthday wishes, cover pages and like. But for normal posting such as picks and discussion I find regular text easier to read and it takes up less space/thread thus it's easier to view more posts per page.

If anyone has probs reading regular text, the View>Text Size in their browser should take care of that.

Bolding, especially in caps, makes it 'feel' like the post is shouting to be heard above all others, that maybe just my impression tho.

Nothing wrong with 'personalizing' posts but isn't that what signatures and Smiley's are for?

I fall into the same trap sometimes too so I'm not above 'making my posts pretty' (thay thailor, just get off the .... nevermind!!:D ) but for clarity we could consider refraining from being artsie fartsie, eh? ;)

this is just an opinion :wavey:

Oh Gawd, now I will feel guilty if I don't conform to your ideas about what you want to look at. I've heard this point before (elsewhere) but not everyone seems to agree.
Unlike you I find plain text boring to read. However, if it makes you and everyone else happy I will conform to your wishes.

:cold: (But I'm an "artsy"? Why can't I be myself?) :cold:
What are the VB options for if not to be used? :(

Ouch ...

Yikes!! I don't know what I was thinking ... please shoot me now!! Maybe that I stumbled onto a Rainbow display when I was looking for numbers?! :dizzy:

Hey Mirage, mine was just a suggestion to avoid 'congestion', no big deal. Just thinking that it'd be practial to fit more than just three lines of huge numbers dressed to kill on one thread page :D

If you want colours go for it though it'll be wasted on a black&white kinda guy like me ;)

Cheers

... and don't mind my lingo, guess it's obvious on which side of the campus I used to reside :clown:

Well, so much for June 16, Ont 6/49 draw...Some "oneoffitis's"! Next I'll focus on Lottario, but I'm spending too much time on this board and the lottery. I have to cut back! :(
