Do you think large jackpots should remain intact, or should the lottery corp make several 1 million dollar prizes?
The lottery people say that 1 large prize will generate more sales than several moderate prizes- I'm not so sure. What do you think?

I would prefer several 1 million dollar prizes yet thinking it is not possible to split prizes in a lottery game in a way that will make satisfied all players. If there was a pick 450 out of 100000 game with a billion dollar main prize and even no rollovers I might bet there would be people playing it believing the next morning they may wake up having that billion.

Therefore, probably the more perfect solution would be having all regular pick3, pick4, pick5, pick6, pick7 and maybe some other games around, which makes various main and the other prizes and odds, so all players may select one or more games by preference…

My biggest fear is winning the jackpot and walking away with less than 10 million ZAR. Anything below 10 million ZAR is just not worth it.

1 million USD is less than 10 million ZAR, so you know what my answer would be :)

found this about that while searching...

Wow…you must be a quite rich guy seeing some hundreds of thousands $$ or equivalent in your currency on a pile quite often….well, IMO 1 million $ on a pile is a rather serious money that will see not that big % of lottery players, and I’m not sure if it can be expressed in percentage at all because of so many possible 0s.

You should start searching this and the other lottery related sites around more systematically and see how actually frequent JP winners are, what games have the most frequent whichever serious $$ JP winners, the most practical lower tier prizes and the lowest odds. Good place for start might be, let’s say, the GH site….
