Some possible hits and misses for the next ON49 draw:

Likely to hit (0.94 probability), 1 or 2 of:
6,13,20,27,34,41,48

Also likely (0.84 probability)
2,9,16,23,30,37,44

Unlikely to hit (0.99 probability of a miss)
4,11,18,25,32,39,46

I would pay special attention to 30,34 and 37 as the thirties decade has missed for the last 3 draws.

Good luck!

How did you come up with these probabilities?
Did you look at the most frequent winning numbers and make a judgement from there?

Well, only the Bonus number from the first set but 3 from the second set! Unfortunately, also 1 from the set that I thought wouldn't hit.

Good luck!

Hi James,

This is all based on my tracking of playslip groups, in this case the Rows. I have data for all 1681 draws to date, so I know the pattern of hits and misses for each group. Therefore, I can calculate probabilities based on past performance.

So, for Row 6 (6,13,20,27,34,41,48) I know that 63% of the misses come immediately after another miss (two misses in a row) and 99.7% of the miss streaks end by 5 misses in a row or earlier. In this case the miss streak has gone to 6 draws in a row and 99.9% of streaks end by 6 -- i.e. there is only a 0.1% probability of another miss from this group, based on past performance. The maximum number of misses in a row is 7 in the sixteen years of history, so its a strong bet, but no guarantee.

Hope this answers your question.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm a math guy not a stats guy.
i) How did you choose which numbers go in which group/row. e.g. Why are 6 and 13 in the same group?
ii) How many Rows are there? Which numbers are they?
iii) How long have you been using this method? If Nov. 6 was the first time, I can tell that it will lead to great results in the near future.

Not a problem, James. And if you are a math guy I may have some questions for you!

Get a copy of the Lotto 649/ON49 playslip and have a look at the number grid. The grid includes 7 columns (1-2-3-4-5-6-7 to 43-44-45-46-47-48-49) It also incudes 7 rows (1-8-15-22-29-36-43 to 7-14-21-28-35-42-49). I track both the columns and the rows.

I did a post about the playslip groups a while back and have been tracking since a few months before that -- maybe 6 months. It doesn't always work out so favourably, but generally very helpful as to where to direct one's attention. It will always give me the probabilities, but it is less usual where you get a strong probability (e.g. 0.9 +) of a hit or miss.

Hope you find this approach useful!
