Hi, Is there a number generator where I can have my own numbers generated rather than using wheels. I don't mean like 1 from 49, 1 from 47 or 1 from 70. If I were to pick 10# 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15 17 19 from those numbers I want generated 6#s per line on 10 lines, 7#s per line 10 lines and if I were to play Keno from the same set of numbers I would like 5#s per line 10 lines ,7#s per line 10 lines or as many I can get. Actually I'm trying to get someone who understands me and can help me out. Thanks

I'll add that to my project list and try to make a webpage for it sometime...random picks from a selected pool of numbers.

I use a method of randomly selecting lines from a personal pool of numbers, using an online random number generator and a pack of home-made (numbered) cards.

It's a bit primitive, I do admit, but it works like this:


1) From a home-made pack of 49 numbered cards, select your pool of numbers (EXAMPLE: 10 cards numbered 13 16 19 23 26 29 45 47 48 49)

2) Go to :http://www.lotterybuddy.com/l649jack.htm
(this generator allows you to select (X) numbers out of (Y) - you enter the X and Y criteria)

3) Now you need to INDEX your 10 cards SEQUENTIALLY with the INDEX numbers 1-10, (eg. while holding the in a mini-pack in your hand)

4) Use the 'lotterybuddy' online generator to randomly select 6 OUT OF 10 - for example it might come up as 3,4,5,6,8,9 - THESE ARE YOUR INDEX NUMBERS, NOT YOUR LOTTO NUMBERS.

5) Now draw your 6 LOTTO numbers (from your little pack of 10 cards) by COUNTING them out, and setting aside the 3rd,4th,5th,6th,8th and 9th cards (IE. AS PER THE RANDOM INDEX).

(following the above example , these are 19,23,26,29,47,48 assuming the cards were in numercial order in your hand)

6) Note down your 6 numbers, gather all 10 cards together again, and REPEAT for as many lines of 6 (out of your pre-selected 10) as you wish.


It sounds long-winded, but with practice it becomes a rapid manual procedure - one which I use regularly.

MDIEDitor and Lotto WE (Saliu) does that....gets good results too depending on your number selection ofcourse! Except the output file is very large
but I usually take my chances with combos right at the bottom of the file.
