Interesting News
LT
Very interesting. I doubt very much whether they will succeed as I believe there main motivation is to talk to each other or to a small group of others in some cocoon that excludes the truth.
Things change and people have to adapt. You can prove that someones beliefs, religious wise, have no basis in fact but they will not change their minds because they have faith. I respect that.
In Lotto there is no room for blind faith - if someone comes up with new information or proves that something is delusory then it should be welcomed and you move on.
I applaud your forthrightness in revealing the info LT and welcome any changes you make to give LotteryPost a run for its money. Perhaps, you could canvass from regular contributors what changes they would like?
Here are a few from me:
1 Open the Forum for non - registered viewers.
2 Take a less Canada-centric view.
3 Change your colour scheme - dark blue too cold.
4 Get rid of some of the useless baggage - who uses Winhunter?
5 Be a bit more lenient on URL's - you win some, you lose some - people will snuggle in where they feel comfortable and warm.
6 Be a bit more pro-active towards female contributors - the Pick3 and Pick4 are firm favourites among women to exercise their female intuition - and of course, they are always right. Get a few high fives and way to go's going and they will love it.
7 Don't do some prediction board; it's counter productive. People wager on horses because it has a nice bum or good legs or nice eyes or pleasant neigh as well as the form etc
8 Avatars brighten up a Forum Site - why restrict them. Sure exercise a bit of aesthetic control - it's like advertisements - some are an absolute turnoff.
9 GET A SPELLING CHECKER
10 I haven't thought of yet - but give it time.
I could go on.
My own forum is more a research and display one. Some of the information there would have been a terrible blow to some who have believed that what they were doing for years had some merit and now find they were deluded. All has not been revealed yet.
It's a short life we have - so you absorb, change your tactics and move on.
Regards
Colin
