Maybe one reason they establish their own lotto forums is "the troll efect". But forums with trolls are more interesting.

This reminds me of the time when the Beatles were separated. Somebody back then said: "This is good, because in stead of one beatiful song, we'r gonna have four".

Interesting News

Very interesting. I doubt very much whether they will succeed as I believe there main motivation is to talk to each other or to a small group of others in some cocoon that excludes the truth.

Things change and people have to adapt. You can prove that someones beliefs, religious wise, have no basis in fact but they will not change their minds because they have faith. I respect that.

In Lotto there is no room for blind faith - if someone comes up with new information or proves that something is delusory then it should be welcomed and you move on.

I applaud your forthrightness in revealing the info LT and welcome any changes you make to give LotteryPost a run for its money. Perhaps, you could canvass from regular contributors what changes they would like?

Here are a few from me:
1 Open the Forum for non - registered viewers.
2 Take a less Canada-centric view.
3 Change your colour scheme - dark blue too cold.
4 Get rid of some of the useless baggage - who uses Winhunter?
5 Be a bit more lenient on URL's - you win some, you lose some - people will snuggle in where they feel comfortable and warm.
6 Be a bit more pro-active towards female contributors - the Pick3 and Pick4 are firm favourites among women to exercise their female intuition - and of course, they are always right. Get a few high fives and way to go's going and they will love it.
7 Don't do some prediction board; it's counter productive. People wager on horses because it has a nice bum or good legs or nice eyes or pleasant neigh as well as the form etc
8 Avatars brighten up a Forum Site - why restrict them. Sure exercise a bit of aesthetic control - it's like advertisements - some are an absolute turnoff.
9 GET A SPELLING CHECKER
10 I haven't thought of yet - but give it time.

I could go on.

My own forum is more a research and display one. Some of the information there would have been a terrible blow to some who have believed that what they were doing for years had some merit and now find they were deluded. All has not been revealed yet.

It's a short life we have - so you absorb, change your tactics and move on.:)

Colin

I like your ideas Colin (CMF), not all but some of them!

But again I wouldn't like this place to become something to compete with what ever other board... or with r.g.l. for that matter!
Don't forget that what made this board and kept it running was the discussions (predictions included) about the Canadian lotteries... if you move from those, this place looses its identity...

I do use winhunter... and if you get the hang of it you would probably use it to!

One of this days I will pass by your forum and have a look... maybe we can have some "philosophical" discussions there, provided you don't treat me as you did with others ...

my 2 cents

I like how Lt has formated this board its clean and easy to read and move around, I checked out lottery post and with all due respect some people may like that but I found it to busy.
There is only 1 big problem with this board and that is people take advatage of Lt s good will.
I liked that idea you had thorc when you said Lt should suspend people from the board when they cause problems.
But thats just my opinion....:) :)

and im sorry cmf but I really do not agree on most of your suggestions, I like Lt's board colour and all :)

Passing by one day ...

You don't have to register to look.

For anyone seriously interested in the "theory" behind Lotto I don't think you can ignore it now. You may not like what you see - but your reaction should be to reconsider your position after taking into account the facts and move on. That's life.

Andrew doesn't push his WinHunter the way he used to. I've perused some of the code in there - it has good notes - so you could learn some VB from it. Personally, I've always wondered why this Forum gave it so much emphasis.

I don't think you have to worry about me being civil thornc - I always start out civilly - reactions you've seen have been to provocations.

I would much rather have a civil discussion with someone pushing me on the intellectual side and me pushing them. Hard to find in the Lotto field. Anyway, you look through my work and you will see that my overwhelming interest is in the truth - the facts - I get some satisfaction in applying what expertise I have into achieving that - and it's not all easy.

I know you know who he is too!

... but Jesus was a troublemaker in his time.

A lot of people don't have a problem with that.

Oh... I just found their (one)new forum... Well good luck to them. Just speculating: this must have been what George (gsobier) was refering to some weeks back when he said he was busy, he had something new in the works.
