Need a simple combination generator.

I am looking for a freeware/shareware combination generator that will allow me to select a given set of numbers and then to choose how these numbers should be grouped i.e. by 2's, 3's, or 4's etc. The program should then produce an output file in the text format. Thank you for your time.

Welcome mrelmira to the forum,

Thanks very much for making a fine contribution. Interesting program,
however there's no help file at the moment, but there are now many posts regarding its' usage by the developer at lotterypost.com . Look under Discussion Forums---> Lottery Systems---> Free System . Perhaps you should repost this under the software heading in case anyone has missed it. Keno players will love this.

Naughty other Forum mentions.

It's still there in the quoted reference.

Brad: How could you call my fine (blankety blank) a BB; I am genuinely offended.:bawl:

At the risk of being judged even more offensive ...

What would you call it? CMF? Which could stand for: Colin's Mini Forum? :notme:

Actually you should thank me for indirectly 'promoting' your site :erm:

Thank you to Brad.

I'm happy for people to look, that's what most people do anyway.

For this site you have to register and a lot of people will not do that.

Interestingly the blankety blank site that went to the trouble of diverting the majority of IP addresses in Australia and a good portion of Asia just so I could not see and a guy called Goose - well before I arranged my exit from that dancing with the fairies site (you see there is another side to the story) I did a bit of an analysis of the membership.

About 100 are regular involved Posters; another 200 or so now and then; the balance of the "8,000" have either never posted or maybe a few just once.

If you're going to take a serious approach to winning in Lotto Games you won't attract a lot of people on a regular basis; what people want to know is "How to win the Lottery". There are plenty of people out there catering to that desire. People don't want to die they want to go to heaven.

There are also people who like playing around with numbers and using their Computer Skills in that area or who would like to know whether these Lotto Systems are just plain speil. Posting as I do is a help for me because I know there are people in this field of interest who would jump on me if I posted something innacurate - so it makes me very wary of posting something I'm not sure of = keeps me sharp.

The same applies to this site but with a difference. Here you have members that are deeply immersed in things that work to a certain extent. I don't know whether Robert Perkins is a member here but I do know that whatever one proved about Wheels or Covers you would have as much chance of changing his mind as changing his religion.

You see what the Lotto Systems field needs is characters, personalities and just like Ion says we need characters like me, but never in a nice way, so I say we need characters like lovable Socratic Ion - who knows one day the mainstream media may lock in.

I recently dropped a couple of lines in a cryptography newsgroup - I was actually quite flattered when someone replied after having a look and congratulated me on my tests. I can tell you candidly I don't get much in the way of praise from people in this field

Regards
Colin

ps On the Blankety Blank site did you post under another name?
Also Mr Dear Sweet Lovable Webmaster I would really appreciate it if you would transform me from CMF to that lovable lariken Colin F.

I didn't understand what was your post about... Geese, IP's and that stuff? However, Robert Perkis is a quite OK guy in my opinion...

Lsystem-2004 help

I downloaded the Lsystem-2004 generator and I have been using it for the past couple of weeks to generate combinations based on the numbers of my choosing. The problem that I have been having with it, is that, when there are suppose to be x number of combinations the generator won't produce all of them. If some one knows how to get around this that would be great. Also, it was said that you could go to the lottery post and get some information on how to apply some of the filters and I did not see anything with regards to this system or any free systems. Thank you for your time. Cdrake out.

Hi cdrake

The only time I run into this problem that you are having is when I set too stringent the parameters for the filters. For example if I set the sum total of my combinations to say 180 and I don't have enough high numbers in my set this will slow down the program to a point I won't get all the combinations I want ....sometimes they will take a few minutes to complete, and sometimes the program can't finish because of the parameters that have been set.
I just checked the other website for that info and it is still posted. Look under Discussion Forums---> Lottery Systems---> Free Lottery System. This is on page 4 of 18...The developer is Stoopendaal, so maybe a search of his name will point you in the right direction. I think its a great free program. Good Luck.
