My own pick 3 system...

After a lot of research, i've set this system, wich relies heavily on Ion Saliu's FFG.

It has 2 axioms:
1) we can't predict the future.
2) we know an exact number of events can happen.
3) we want to invest some money, recover it and make some profit.

Someone interested in hearing the rest ?... to be continued :finger:

Hello, vortell....
Mr. Saliu has very good thoughts and quite workable programs, however, some of his treatesis can get quite sticky. As you have already been there you know how I am referencing his programs. My only words at this time are: be sure you know how his programs are set; understand thoroughly his train of thought(s); keep checking on any updates because his thinking changes with the updated material and does go off on a tangent at times.
I would be curious as to what you intend and would like to see what you are about.
Bring it on,

Yup, well there is never a sure bet, but at least with stock "investments" there is more tangible data to base decisions upon.

Playin stocks is actually easier since trends are already plotted out, and homework can be done readin articles & docs, see what executive salaries are in comparison to company profit (if any) etc.

About Ion Saliu's, i think his theories seem fairly firm, but honestly i don't like his programs (too hard to use, too unfriendly, too complicated).

Anyway, in any chance game we know what can happen, as i said before.

In a pick 3 game, we know for sure the winning number will be between 0 and 999, right ?

So i'll explain my system. It works fairly well, altough sometimes it gets a little hard to play.

First, we have to consider this:
1) the prize. Here in my country, the pick 3 game pays $500 for each $1 you played, if you hit the 3 digits (i think this is almost universal. Or at least, the most common).

2) the money we have spent playing (from the first draw to the present). We will call this variable "A".

3) the money we want to win. We will call this variable "B"

4) the money we must bet (we eill this variable "X") so, if we win, we recover "A" + "X" and win "B".

Example:

I want to win $ 10,000 (B), so i must bet $20 (X). This is the first time i play, so A=0. The number i play is irrelevant (let's see later why).

Let's suppose i win. I get a net win of $9,980.

But let´s suppose i don't win. Next draw i'll have to play X so: prize=B+X+A

So we must play X=(A+B)/500

Now, we select a random number between 0 and 999. We know sooner or later this number will appear, so all we must do it's to play the same number always according to the formula and we will win and recover all the money spent.

I have been doing this with discret success for nearly 3 years (with some variations, since the pick 3 game here has some special characteristics, but this is the essenece of the system). Can't complain !!!!:spiny:
