More Trivia?
Did you ever try to pump gasoline that costs $ 3.4986735 per gallon?
Even with a calculator in hand, it's very difficult to do!
Why does "brown" eggs cost more per dozen than "white" eggs?
Are people that gullible? Eggs are produced initially from a hen's hiney!
If bigger is better and stronger then why is it that a 250lb. woman goes into shock
...from seeing a 3/4 ounce mouse? Hmmm...
Here in North America, a speed limit sign is posted...55 mph...yet if you do that speed, you'll likely get your butt runover. So many rude drivers need to walk a couple miles!
I recently did this experiment---
I set up a card table with a chair, a pair of binoculars, a large yellow pad of paper and pretended to count cars plus writing pretend information. This experiment was on a corner intersection in my town with the speed limit posted of 25 mph for this one short half-mile drag. It's located next to a church; a funeral home; a strip mall; a junior high school
and a library. My setup was a couple feet past the speed limit sign, while across from me was two different STOP Signs. Now around here, the goodly driving citizens propell their vehicles like rockets; fly thru stop signs and have forgotten how to read the speed limit and cut corners when turning to a beautiful diagonal that clears the opposite stop sign and kisses the curb. What that means is that they cutoff oncoming traffic that is already waiting to make a turn of some sort. When I began my little experiment the upstanding driver citizens...damned near had heart attacks trying in earnest to slow down.
Some times I received...:finger: and horn blasts or words with intelligent wisdom(?) that they had learned from someone that had cut them off. Hah...!
So much for "Trivia."
At least I feel that I saved a life or two; that brown eggs have no taste difference in color; that I'm not that good in math; and as for the mouse situation...who can tell what that's all about!
Have a great day!
