Many of my past workouts have produced a Matrix or a Reference Box from which to test and generate Combinations. In all of these workouts the Matrix was the tail end of a string of many calculations and processes.
I have looked at a few Matrixes posted here and elsewhere that showed promise; but, the source of the numbers was not always clear. That uncertainty made me shy away from a Matrix as a Stand Alone Method.
Icewynd recently posted an idea for 6/49 that looked at 3-5 previous games. That sparked an Idea for a Matrix for Pick 3. Beyond looking at the Last 3 games there is nothing similar to Ice’s process; but I want to give credit for the seed of this idea to that Post
The Matrix is 5x5. The Inside 3x3 Box contains the last 3 Draws in Draw Order. The Top Left and Bottom Left Corners are the Root Sum of the 3x3 Diagonals. The Top Right and Bottom Right corners are the Right Digit – the left digit of the Root Sum of the 3x3 Diagonals. The Middle 3 of the Top Row and Left Column are the Root Sum of the corresponding columns and rows of the Inside 3x3 Box. The Middle 3 of the Bottom Row and Right Column are the left digit – the right digit of the Root sum of the corresponding rows and columns of the 3x3 Inside Box.
Before I go to much farther into this I have a few Questions. It would appear that I have turned Pick 3 Game into a Pick 5 Game; however, there are still only 10 options per Number Positions since values in the Box are between 0 and 9. There are however 10,000 combinations of 3 inside the 5x5 Box. Chasing the Next Draw by picking positions in the Matrix is a losing proposition overall; however, there are some combinations that perform better than others. Back Tests of 39 Fixed Position Combinations in the Box are almost positive if played over the last 14,240 Games of CAP3. I admit that the Back Test Was based on finding the Best performers over the Last 1000 Games Which showed High Returns. I Tweaked those combinations to get the largest number of straight hits that I could Find. Running those combinations for 14,240 Games produced a negative result. I did not run all possible combinations so I don’t know which perform best. I will do that before I finish this.
Not Satisfied with 10,000 combinations, I decided to double it to 20,000 by including a second Matrix with the Inner Box in Numerical Order. I ran a few combinations from each box and cross overs from each box with similar results.
About ready to say “Get Me Out of This Freaking Maze”. I found a separate maze to get Lost in. This one involves looking at numbers that are absent in Areas within both 5x5 Boxes. Counting for example which numbers are absent from the 3x3 inside box, The Outer ring, The Top row and Left Column of the Outside Ring, the Bottom Row and Right Column of the Outside Ring; For Both Boxes. That Produced 7 Columns of numbers That I call the Exiled Numbers. A table showing how many times each draw number appears in the exiled Group and the Ranking of that count produces the next Matrix from which to test and predict. For this option, I ran 14,240 Games with all possible combinations (1000) of Ranking of the Exiled Counts. Those Combinations are the same as the set of Draw number combinations with 0 replaced by 10. There were no positive combinations over the 14,240 games. 2 combinations returned $12,000, 3 combinations returned $11,000. The Wager still drowned but it’s body was found in the “shallow” end of the Ocean.
There is another outcome that is interesting. There were 53 Combinations of Rankins that Hit more times than their corresponding Draw Number Combinations as Straights and 55 as Boxes. 3 combinations hit 15 more times, 3 hit 11 more times and 2 hit 10 more times than their corresponding Draw Number Combinations. That’s a paltry 0.1053%.
Still Lost; but, thanks to Frank I can zip around this Maze and Clean House at the Same Time. And Thanks Ice, I think, Time will tell if there is anything in here. I’ll keep in touch as a life line. If I sound to crazy the code phrase that could pull me out is “I’m Your Huckleberry”
Gotta Go, I think I hear something.
