May Win-loss NY Numbers

In May my total bet on NY Numbers was $78, no wins until May31 when
I hit $40! Before that I had a single win in April of $80 on doubled numbers.
I keep hitting 2, missing by 1 number.
I've yet to win a straight; though someone on line infront of me did hit a s/b.

Compare to QD, first time I played 4-spots I hit $55!
I've played 2-spots 30 times, lost only 5 times. I played $5 2-spot, won $20.
