I am thinking if you could eliminate 3 numbers so now you have 36 left, divide into three groups of twelve numbers then there will be at least one group will hit 2-3 numbers every draws.
A 12 numbers wheel still cheap enough to test out this theory.
BTW, that Derby game is now over $400K, and odds are about 1 in one million, while 6/49 odds are over 13 milion to 1 and jackpot prize are about $1 million?

I'd rather have CA go through with their plans for their proposed Lotto Million 6/49. Afterall, the CA Daily Derby costs $2 a pop, to chase $400k I'd rather wait for the Fantasy5 pot to build up.
In the Lotto Millions game, the pot would have a $1mil minimum, and be fortified with $500k+ each time there was no winner drawn, 2nd prize would be $3,500 in their example with the pot at $2mil. That is about 7 times more than 2nd prize on Daily Derby or Fantasy5.
yes, 12 numbers is reasonable...that is like playin about a third of the field like in roulette.

Hate to be dumb, but can you explain the SIMONSEZ formula? I put in the last 2 draw weeks. It comes out with 4 FORMULAs and 4 COREs. Can you explain that? Do I use the COREs in a wheel?

it is just a tool to try to help select a pool of numbers. experiment and see how it would perform if you had played.
