I don't pick numbers from the previous pool specifically but the system I use does. For example I use a range of draws for the source of the numbers and play the set for 10 draws. Then the next set of numbers is produced with the same range of previous draw results. These ranges overlap so there will be some similar numbers in the current set from the previous set.
