There was one jackpot winner in the state of New Hampshire for the last drawing's $135,600,000 grand prize!

Sitting here trying to imagine all that cash,
thought I put it into perspective:

let's say a $1 US bill is .005" thick,
a stack of singles of the grand prize would result in a cash column
56,500 feet tall (10.7mi or 17.2km) !!

That's out of this world ... literally ... considering one is well into the Stratosphere at ~52,000'

Anyone care to calc the height of an equivalent Loonie stack?

... and the $$:cow: jumped over the moon ...

Just imagine going to the bank to make a withdrawl in $1 notes

"Mass shortage of $1 notes" would be the headlines.

Bank teller still busy counting after 1 year

The take: 1 for you, 1 for me and one for the tax man.

Not impressed yet ? Then picture this ...

Ok Lucky, here's one more:

same amount, same $1 bills, all placed end to end would total 21,090 km or 13,100 miles ... more than half way around the Globe !! :dizzy:

(Equatorial circumference=24,900 mi, $1 US bill=6.125", I measured it ... the bill, not the circumference :D )

coming up next: let's weigh the sucker !!

Nice !!

850 kg ... well for that, a pick up with a trailer would suffice.

Now back to the $136M US ... with the same bill composition that would be 6,800 kg ... I would guestimate 50x that or ~340,000 kg with $1 bills ... now we're talking a train load !! ... or 400 trips with the p/u :dizzy:

i wonder if bc lottery would go with the "take it in cash" idea ?........probably have to hire a lawyer on a percentage basis to get them to consider it...............
