Lotto generators

I see number generators come in 8 bit and others 32 bit.
Is there any advantage for the 32 bit?
What does one do that the other doesn't?

I've never used them before.
They seem like a quick way to get a choice... or why not just goto the corner store and get a fast one.

I would imagine the difference would be the size of the random number generated.. a 32 bit number would be much larger than an 8 bit number. But then, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, cus I've never looked at any lotto/number generators out there.. if it is just the size of the random number, then the 32 bit one would have more combinations, so to speak, of random numbers that it generates..
