Can anyone tell me anything about your lottery? I live in North Carolina, and I was sent and e-mail saying I won part of the London lottery. [880,000 pounds] but they say I have to pay right at 200.00 dollars to receive it. Hope someone can shed some light on this or is this scam. Thank you.

SCAM!!!

Hello Katty,

I have received e-mails too! Do NOT give any personal information as is asked by the "official" notification. If you send your money first then chances are to wave bye-bye. If you are unsure then check the seat of the message. You will get a lot of 'store front' non-sense and probably no answer for your troubles.
I have received enough money from 'winning':lphant: ---second place---in the Irish Sweepstakes; and four British computer draws to build a nice little castle home the size of Buckingham Palace. In all sincerety, stay away from mega wins that you know nothing about and didn't personally enter!

Amen!

No legitimate lottery organization will ask you for up-front money before payment. If the lottery is locaed in a jurisdiction where taxes have to be withheld, that organization will take a portion of the prize for that purpose before the award.

Also, you won't win anything at a lottery you yourself have not entered.

Yes it is a scam, DO NOT give them money. These are well-known scammers.
It was covered in http://www.lotteryflorida.net plus there was a programmed on it, they will ask you for an initial sum and they ask for more and more to cover “costs “in order to release your money.
When they next call you, tell them to stick it up their** just because you are from America it doesn’t mean you are that gullible - they make me sick!!
