Hello everybody !

I was wondering if its worth it to play Keno with all the old ladies in Vegas? I could look up payouts and odds online i am sure, but i just feel like starting a discussion here instead and want to know if there are any places in particular i should go when i visit:beer:

Casual play favors El Cortez and the Fitz, then Orleans. Tournament play at the Fitz has favored the regulars - and that's all I'll say on that subject.

Almost all the video Keno games in Vegas offer near or over 90% payout percentage.

Somewhat dated - haven't had the time or the resources to update lately - but will give you a general idea. Non-commercial, nothing to sell, no ads, for informational purposes only.

Keno - real, live Keno played in a Keno lounge - is one of the worst bets in any casino, usually offering the lowest overall payout percentage of any game available. Since casino profits are generally computed on a basis of dollars generated per square foot of floor space, a Keno lounge, coupled with the need for several employees, can't possibly be as profitable as, say, slots unless there is a healthy house edge. Even with that, Keno lounges are slowly disappearing in Vegas casinos. The slow pace of the game - once every 4-7 minutes - isn't in the game's favor either.

Keno tournament:

Entry fee is buy in.
Set number of games, maximum bet limit per game - usually $5-$10.
Winner of tournament is the bettor with the highest amount of winnings after the set number of games have been played.
Bet any game the house has to offer.

You bet your own money in each game, take your losses, keep your winnings. Tournament play is against all other participants.

Comps usually available - take 'em if they're offered.
