Consistancy?

One thing I noticed is that the 649 numbers aren't nothing like the keno numbers. First of all the keno numbers repeat more often. There are more of them to repeat, so it would justify it, I think. But, when they do repeat, they repeat in a bunch of numbers, at least three in a row, if not more! That equals a $50 win for $2 wager in a three number pick. I think that most you can win on a 3 number pick in 649 is $5 for 2 numbers and the quick pick or if you get three numbers, for the $2 bet, you get $10.
I think I will try for the $50!

Also, the numbers in Keno follow a different path I find then the 649, including the fact that the numbers usually go in order in Keno, and not in 649...
i.e.,
Keno numbers:
7,8,9,10,11,12 Wow what a large win we could of had! If only we knew!!!
16,18,22,23,27,
29,30,31 Consistancy is the order of the day!!!
35,37,47,58,60,64

649 numbers: 04 26 (30 31) (48 49) 23 No more than 2 #s that go in a row

649 numbers again: 02 07 26 35 39 43 17 No repeats is common from one day to the next, and notice there are no numbers going in order here.

But, putting all theories aside..... anything is worth a try!....huh?

troller on average 6 keno numbers should repeat per draw:agree2: the keno odds are MUCH better then 649:agree: most people like the 4 to 6 or 7 number picks

Canada 649 for me to win about $2000 =
5 / 6 = odds = 1 / 55,492

COMPARED TO=

Ontario Keno odds =
to win $1000 for a $1 ticket = so if i bet $2 on the 1 keno ticket same price as 649 and double the prize so $2000

6 / 6 = 1 / 3,383 = $1000 x 2 = $2000
or
8 / 9 = 1 / 10,325 = $1000 x 2 = $2000

how bout for $5000 X2 = $10,000 =
7 / 7 = 1 / 15,464 = $5000 x 2 = $10,000
or
9 / 10 = 1 / 47,238 = $5000 x 2 = $10,000

-------------------------------------

Canada 649 for me to win about @ $100,000 average =
5B / 6 = odds = 1 / 2,330,636

COMPARED TO

Ontario Keno odds =
8 / 8 = odds = 1 / 74,941 = $25,000 X 2 = $50,000
or
9 / 9 = odds = 1 / 387,191 = $50,000 X 2 = $100,000
or
10 / 10 = odds = 1 / 2,147,181 = $250,000 X 2 = $500,000

It's clear where my money is going .)

  :agree2:

Never, ever, ...

I also would like to add, in all my years of playing.... I have yet to win anything more than $10 on 649.

In Keno I have consistantly won at least once every week since I started. Average win is anything from $50 to $300+

Those big 8,9, and 10 number wins, still elude me! But, the smaller fries keep coming in. So onward... to win/play again.

I must admit, since they raised the price I have played a couple of times and now I am not playing anymore. That $2 bet is worth much more to me elsewhere!

I would really like to know if the OLGC keeps track of tickets that almost won. Do they have a statistic for that? Missing it by one number kinda thing?

I could not cash a ticket in one store because it was too close to a draw time. What's the difference. As if my cashing of the ticket would influence the next draw somehow!?!?

I am leaning towards the notion that the game must be fixed some how, either by computer or humans on a computer. For one thing, I have lost on many tickets by one number. So does that mean that I guessed correct on all but one? Or was there some far fetched influence on that winning ticket to lose?

Why is there a gap between the time you cannot buy a ticket and the draw. So you can buy tickets until 9 PM, but the draw isn't until 9:30 or later. We are in the age of computers now. In fact you could probably have a computer accept a bet from everyone on this planet, that's 5 Billion orders on the stroke before 9:29PM and the draw can still be handled at 9:30PM and all tickets would be accounted for. There seems to be too much time for the computer to compute all the tickets that came in and to figure out what numbers were not chosen!

Also, the new upgraded lotto machines... since the upgrade, Keno along with all the other lotteries seem to be harder to win at. Before there were a lot more larger wins on games like Proline etc. That seem to go away with the new lotto machines.

There are other weird things going on too that I could point out that lean towards - a lotto game that is not random, but this note is getting long!!!

troller, after studying lottos you get to see the trends and discover the signature - you seem to be better at keno than 6/49.

I have never played keno - just started to look at it when the 6/49 price went up.

I think keno is a great game but opposite to you I have never won more than $10.

In fact, my win was because I had NO NUMBERS in my list of 10 - 4 tickets like that for $8

In contrast, I have hit a 5 number prize in 6/49 and win quite a few times with that lotto.

No question keno is good - hopefully the winning will start.

Question. You mention 'new' lotto machines. Do you have a reference to that? How do you know the machines are 'new'?

New Lotto Machines

Not sure which part of the city your from, but throughout Ontario there are these new Blue (lighter than before) machines. The old machines were dark blue with a square type box layout. The old ones had a display screen only capable of displaying text or numbers. Very slow to read and printout many tickets in a little amount of time.

Now the new lotto computers come with a nice little LCD monitor that has pictures, actual pictures of the gang of lotto players types. Capable of playing commercials if they so desire. Lighter blue color than before. And, you can give them a stack of tickets to process and they fly like a hot knife through butter.

Do you think it is better to play 1 set of numbers for x amount of draws or change the numbers you play every draw?

Keno tomorrow-

Just looking at the chart like what Troller has, I think the would be numbers for tomorrow are 07 16 31 36 41 51.

For tonight, I guessed but did not play 05 15 25 30 46 52. Only 4 came out.

So far the hot 8 numbers for the last 3 draws are 09 18 34 47 52 56.

Frequency chart...

If you were to compare the numbers that come up in the freqency chart (Most to least) with the numbers for each draw, you would be able to see where the numbers are coming from for each draw... you will see which numbers are more than likely to drop.

For Keno, I noticed that the numbers come from all over the frequency chart. Top to bottom. Even if 68 is showing as the most drawn of them all, it hasn't come up in days, and only twice in July.

Numbers like 29,16,22,45,60 are all at the bottom of the frequency. 29 and 45 are showing 4x in July and 16, 22 are showing 3x in July. Only 60, at the bottom of the frequency, is showing a poorer performance than 68, which is at the top of the frequency.... poorer by one draw!

Use the chart to show(stand out) what's hot right now and utilized those numbers in your picks. At least in Keno it's like that.

So far I've been in the correct ball park, but I keep missing it by one number. For instance, I see three numbers together in a diagonal line: 67,26,21

First day 67 comes up. So the second day, I select 26. Which comes in like a champ. Now it makes sence since it is going in a diagonal line like that, more than likely 21 should fall, but for some reason, 22 falls. Hmm.... do you see what I see. Now to only know when to guess at the number that is going to advance or fall.

Consider the following numbers that are from the Ontario Keno:
5-Jul-04 29
6-Jul-04 28
7-Jul-04 27
8-Jul-04 26
9-Jul-04 27
10-Jul-04 28
11-Jul-04 29
12-Jul-04 30

Notice the nice v shaped slope, going down in order and then going up in order. Oh KWell, does that mean that 31 is next or do they go back to playing 29 which would make it zig zag around? Or will they abandoned the numbers all together and go elsewhere?

Try to play their game with mentality that they are trying to rooke you so try to find the number that will do the rooking!

Troller - a question

Hi Troller

Can you tell me how much you would play a week when you win 50 - 300.00 a week or is this Private info? If so, I understand. As I stated I have just started playing Keno and so far have only taken the 2 - 4 #'s @ 1.00 or 2.00 a time. Usually 3 # sets each day.
Thanks.

Spending.....

Hey... I am not psychic nor am I a big money winner. I do however, play to make money by playing with their money rather than my own. At least if I win $50, I will try and spend that $50 to make more money.

I also notice that this month has been a wierd number set, not showing hardly any of the typical numbers that have been consistantly been coming up before. So choosing numbers, I would say each month presents itself with it's own set of problems. Play their game I say! Look for hot numbers.

Here is the problem. If I am playing only those 3 number combos, @ $2, it's a $50 win if one of those 3'somes comes in. Those $1000's of dollar wins still elude me. That's why I play everyday. I figure if I am that close, I must be able to figure this thing out eventually. The sooner the better..... must study daily and take it seriously to win. Forget the quick picks! Forget Encoure, spend the money on extra plays.

3 number picks are a lot easier to win at. Of course we all try those 7,8,9, and 10 number tickets, but I have yet to win on anything over 4 numbers. Came close, off by one nuymber here and there....but alas... no cigar!

If I am at the end of the week and have not won yet, then sometimes I resort to playing the $1 bets and usually that gets me by.

The best is when I win on 4 numbers that I also broke down into 3 bets. That means, say you play 1,2,3,4 Also play 2,3,4 and 1,2,4 and 1,3,4. You can potentially win on all or two of those plays. Hopefully you win on the 4 number and one or two of the threes. This way you will make $300 ($200 for 4 numbers, $50 for each of the 3 number wins) No... I do not spend more than $40 on playing in one night. There is always tomorrow.

If you are new to this lotto, please study the way the numbers are falling from day to day, month to month. You eventually will know which numbers to pick. At least 90 percent of your numbers should be coming in and if not, regroup and find another combo. Don't think just because you have not seen a number in a long time, that it's due, cause it ain't like that! Maximize on todays hot numbers.

Again thanks

My thanks again,

I am pretty well doing as you and others suggested, but was not
sure if people were playing daily or ??
I am not trying to Copycat anyone but I am learning a lot and
dipping my toes in carefully until I get the hang of this game.
It is totally different from anything I have done before. Having great fun at it too. At least I am getting some excitement out of my $$ spent. I have avoided quick picks for some time and NEVER play Encore.
