I know alot of someones who knows someone, who won a jackpot, and/but never actually met that person face to face!
You should have a poll on that question! I bet there would be alot of "someones who knows someone".

My Dad won $50 thousand in the first Provincial draw many many many years ago .. lol, I was far too young to care though

I'm sorry I've make a mistake I know someone who won more then 10,000$.

I'ts my uncle who won 1 millions in provincial a long time ago and he done it with only one ticket, that's luck they give us only 100$ to my family but that was enough it was the grand father of the husband of my mothers sister who won the one millions i don't think its my uncle...

Please believe me and he lived a long time ago in hull now is past away.

My dad won the 5/6 on 649 twice ( a couple a years apart and a
long time ago)
for a grand total of around 7,000.00(both were quick pics)
(he almost had a heart attack the 1st time)

My close friend who works with me on the assembly line when I was at Chrysler 17 years ago won then the ENCORE prize of $250,000
Next day, he bought a bigger house and sold his townhouse.
On the weekend, he invited us all to a restaurant to eat and drink all we can on him.

I won 5 numbers twice on Lotto 6/49. The prize was little over 2,000 dollars each time.

One was even widely disputed here by the village idiots even after providing proof of the ticket and the validation slip.

I guess im the first to post about not knowing anyone.. Ive never met or know anyone personal know someone else who has won over 10k.

In my country they put cars as a prize and number of cars go up if nobody hits the jackpot(it seems like if you win a car you dont have to pay much tax). I know the guy who used to live 200m from my house, a shoe polisher guy who won 17 cars, each cost about 15000$. He used to live in a small ugly house, now he live in a castle like house right next to his old house. Aint that luck? You never know!
