Is this just a coincidence?

Hello, I've happened to notice that the numbers drawn at the first of the month often repeat throughout the month. For example in the Prairie Keno for May the numbers drawn on the first were:

2 7 17 18 19 30 33 34 42 49 52 54 55 56 57 59 63 67 72 78

The matching numbers throughout the month were(six or more):
May 5 - 7 18 49 54 56 78
May 11 - 17 34 42 49 57 59
May 14 - 2 19 30 33 42 54 67
May 17 - 2 17 30 54 57 59 63
May 18 - 2 17 30 54 56 59
May 20 - 2 18 49 52 72 78
May 22- 33 52 57 59 63 78
May 28 - 7 18 30 33 55 56 57 59 63 (9 numbers!)

Many more days with 5 and 4 matches.

Is this just a coincidence? If I picked twenty numbers at random would I be likely to have the same results? Any opinions?

Actually, I based my picks from the previous night's results. I know the numbers repeat. I have seen an 11-number repeats. We could probably do the 20 numbers and wheel them all but it will take more $$$ so I just opt to play the average daily repeats which I think is 6 and some 2's, 3's, 4's. Odd times, I play more numbers. Another option is to reduce the numbers from 20 to say 10 or 15. It's up to you. Let's hear from others..:wavey:
