It's ...walleye time again (that's a fish
),
the new spring season is upon Ohio fishermen and ladies...I prefer catfish to walleyes but that's in personal taste only. Where I get my giggles is awatchin the anglers in the Maumee river all lined up in the spawning areas...usually fifty or so about a rods length from each other trying to out do their neighbor with various types of equiptment. It's okay if you are that way but I spect that the fish are laughing their fins off as they tangle lines; tempt fisher folk with views of what they aren't gonna catch. You see the Maumee river is only about sixty yards across in my area and only about fifteen yards is usable by the anglers because the rest of the river is loaded with extremely deep sink holes; a hard current and is normally about twelve to fifteen feet deep in most areas. What I see is this...the neo-pros are thinking that all of the fish are going to be caught from this one little five foot space...marked MINE!...if you look at a train of railroad cars coupled together, you should to able to see what I see!
Between that scenerio and good taste...that's why I am partial to catfish. Mainly, it's night fishing and all of the heros went home! Kinda reminds me of Pick 3 lottery and many of its players...Hahaaaaaaa...
