I’m sure I read a post from AllenB yesterday requesting help with a spreadsheet project and with a reply from Bloubul. It involved contacting me directly. The next thing :- both posts vanished.

Just so I know I’m not suffering from senile dementure
I will screenshot this page in case this post disappears too. This forum is quiet enough without posts mysteriously vanishing!

Bloubul, thank you for confirming that I was not imagining things. On other forums I am a member of, admin have the courtesy to comment and explain when they feel the need to delete a post, instead of creating an Agatha Christie mystery. Most people know already how to contact me anyway.

Yes I'm one of the members that knows how to contact you directly, but look at some other sites the members compete to be the TOP predictor, here it's only LT and teufillj that post some predictions but I cannot play pick 3 at the bookies and to play LT 20 nrs will cost me a fortune.
So what do we really get from this BB

It did occur to me that AllenB may wish to keep his work private, hence NOT posting it openly to mediafire, which I can understand. When I was running Lotterygen, I encountered many people who needed confidential help with unfinished work.

I, too, have had this same unnerving situation a few times, so don't feel alone!

I know that it is a pisser to do a lot of work and then, presto, am I losing it?

I now write a dissertation in "Word" then post where I will. The outcome is a saved

document and a double check to be reassured of my sanity!

The ability and patience to derive useful info out of such word salad is quite the feat to behold.

Its nice to know other people are having the same difficulty as me in understanding Jack. I was beginning to get an inferiority complex because usually, very little makes sense. This was made worse by the deafening silence by everyone else, who perhaps wisely kept out of it.
