How Dumb of Me...

A serious charge that I have been guilty of is...

1_ NOT slowing down and rechecking my numbers BEFORE making a bet!

Do you realize that Ranking or sequential sets are not necessary in most lottery games? In short any number in any order is the same as an 'as called' setup.

2_ Having patience to see a program finish what was imputed wether it's yours or a store bought program.

3_Choosing numbers from the top of my head rather than using my eyes and brain and seeing what's what in real time.

4_On the intuitive side of bets and gambling in general...
Most players can 'know the future' of any given thing within the first five seconds of a particular thought concerning lottery or gambling; we write down some figures and put down something else, why? Intuition or 'gut' feeling kicks in about the same time that we glance at a clock.

5_Concentration is a 'key' factor---if you can't keep a particular thought without randomizing, you have downsized your ability to pick a winning number. Focus on a thought and keep concentrated until your mind accepts as gospel what was construed as a proper number, sequence, distribution or plan.

You have been enlightened about some of my past faults that for the most part have been corrected.

heh! I've been in a rush and made dumb mistakes too...especially on pick3, playin my eve picks on the midday game by accident, or forgot to mark "straight/box" split bets and my picks end up ridin the draw as straight bets and I miss a box doh!

yup, good to go with gut feelings & instinct. I try to review my picks very carefully before fillin out slips...some picks give me a better feel than others, so I sometimes drop bland ones.

Here's what I've been yakking about when you don't 'check and recheck,
before making a bet. Go to my -Ohio Rolling Cash 5 Sunday 7/08- and you will see a common mistake that we all make...One other thing...don't be embarassed or too good to admit it when you are wrong...I've grown just by accepting my dumb carelessness and so will you!

hiya teufellj, yup definately a good idea to double check picks before lettin 'em ride.

there have been times when I've done a late night blurry-eyed rundown & pick boildown...and the next day I've noticed that I missed somethin, mis-typed a digit, or forgot that I was also gonna attack from another angle so I'd have a few picks covered by antoher strategy as well.

seeya,
