Not familiar with the lottery game that Canadians are playing in record
numbers? Here are some fun facts about LOTTO SUPER 7.

- A LOTTO SUPER 7 ticket costs $2 and gives you three chances to win!
Each ticket includes three sets of seven numbers. (You can select one
set, the other two sets are Quick Picks, or you can choose to have
Quick Picks for all three sets!)
- The odds of any one ticket winning the jackpot are approximately 21
million to 1. The odds of any one set of seven numbers winning are
approximately 63 million to 1 (each SUPER 7 ticket includes three
sets of numbers and therefore three chances to win on a single
ticket). The overall odds of winning a prize are better than 1 in 6.
- There have been 461 draws held since LOTTO SUPER 7 was launched in
May 1994.
- The jackpot has been won 106 times with a total of 133 top prize
winning tickets. (A jackpot is shared when there is more than one
winning ticket) In Ontario, players have won or shared a LOTTO
SUPER 7 jackpot 69 times. Ontario LOTTO SUPER 7 players have won more
than $1.4 billion in prizes.
- The biggest LOTTO SUPER 7 jackpot so far was $37.8 million on May 17,
2002. It was split on four winning tickets. The 2nd largest LOTTO
SUPER 7 jackpot so far is the $25 Million from April 4th, 2003. The
third largest to date was $22.5 million on March 27, 1998 and was won
by an Ontario couple.
- The number drawn most frequently on LOTTO SUPER 7 to date is 16. It
has been drawn as a regular (not bonus) winning number 85 times. The
least frequently drawn number is 42. It has been drawn as a regular
winning number 56 times. (Please note, the frequency at which a
number has been drawn has no bearing on future draws. Each draw is an
independent event, and each number has an equal chance of being
drawn.)
- Ticket sales are expected to be brisk today! Ticket sales for a big
LOTTO SUPER 7 jackpot typically pick up their pace as the draw
approaches, with approximately half of the sales for the week taking
place on the day of the draw.

In the atlantic and the western provinces you can pick all three lines/sets yourself.

In Québec also... :agree:

Dennis are you in Quebec? I have a Quebec super7 lottery card right here it says "For each board marked with 7 numbers, you will also obtain 2 computer generated selections"
So it doesn't look like we can pick all 3 number for $2.

It's another slip here in English and French

In Ontario, and parts of the West, we don't have this option :burnt: :mad3:

Stick around - you will learn a lot here.
PERSONAL SELECTIONS Slip

Unlike the regular selection slip, which allows you to pick the first of the 3 selections in a play, the PERSONAL SELECTIONS slip allows you to pick each of the 3 selections in a play.

Step 1
For one play, mark 7 numbers from 1 to 47, or mark the QUICK PICK box on each of the 3 selection boards

Step 2
Mark the number of draws, up to 26 consecutive draws

Step 3
Mark the number of Extra numbers desired ($1 per number, up to 10 numbers), or mark the No box if you do not want to play Extra

Don't think so

Only BC can you pick your own - the other 3 Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are under WCLC - it looks like you can't according to their site:

Western Canada Lotto Corp

Anyone from Sask or Manitoba - Randal can you pick all 3 in Manitoba??

Peter, I all ready know you can't pick all 3 in Alberta ;)

Ok so I got the wrong slip? I'll have to get the other one then..
For sure - the cost of wheeling for you is 0.66/ticket - much better than $2

True@$2 , but will stick with 1 pick for every $2 for now, because what if all of your "personal selections" are way off, then at least you've got some quickpicks that may actually win? I'm playing $100 worth this friday's s7 split between coworkers, so don't want it to be wasted if my picks aren't that great.

There are enough good players on these boards to hit some good numbers :agree:

Trust me, if I could wheel for 0.66/ticket no way I would play QPiks

Better wheels, more numbers, can't miss ;) Do you buy your tickets in Quebec?

Yep I live in Ottawa so it's a 10 minute drive to go over there and grab some tickets.. Maybe I will for this weeks 25$m$$$

I've been playing more 6/49 lately, haven't figured out a good approach for super7 yet.. Trying to wheel by draw ago frequency it's working on and off

Trust me.....I can play my own 3 lines...Otherwise I wouldn't play that lotto at all....You have to get yourself the right slips...In every store you will find them...if not?? You should never buy anything again from that store...Because the owner might be charging extra taxes too on all the goods and merchandises...
You want an honest store owner?? Look at what slips he provides...
:agree:
