Health Canada is warning Canadians against a hair treatment that could be fatal. SESA Hair Supplement capsules are designed to treat hair loss. The product is contaminated with unacceptable levels of lead and could cause serious side effects, even death. The product is manufactured by Rani-Pharma incorporated but may also be sold by herbalists and acupuncturists under a different name. Health Canada say the treatment contains more then 7-thousand times the allowable limit of lead in a health product as well as mercury and arsenic. Anyone who has used the SESA Hair Supplement capsules is asked to consult their physician.
