Way to go Mirage..Great Picks!
Did you play any of those numbers?

Thanks!!
Yeppers. I played 8 lines altogether. I got 4 numbers on one line. Got 2 plus the bonus on 5 lines - I guess I will get $5 each for those as per the new rules? I'm waiting to see what the 4 numbers on one line will fetch me.

Congrats!!!
Do you play a program?..I was keeping my fingers crossed that maybe you got the 5/6 since you had the bomus to..Way to go!
I paid for a lottery site but their numbers are not even coming close..Makes me wonder if I wasted my money buying it..
I'd like to just play Ont49..It's more in my price bracket..4 tickets for the price of one..I heard that was going up in the next 6 months but you can't always trust rumors..Jill

I keep track of numbers manually using sheets of graph paper. I have been doing this for years, a couple of decades almost. I also have some lottery software to keep track of the other stats. They help a bit with the stats but don't let lottery software pick the numbers for you. Common sense and intuition work better.

What lottery site did you buy, if you don't mind me asking?

Re: Ont 649 price increase: Where did you hear this rumour?
It wouldn't surprise me if they do increase the ticket price since 50 cents a ticket is just too good to be true. I think if they increase the price they should also do something to increase it's appeal. Not that I'm complaining about the jackpot prize. But the jackpot is not often won. I don't think too many people in Ontario play it except the hard core lottery players who know it's a good deal. OLGC would have to make it more visible to make it worth their while... on the other hand, they probably think since things haven't worked out too badly with Can 6/49's price increase after all, that they can get away with increasing the price of Ont 6/49. And those Lotto corp executives have to do something to justify their existence and fat salaries... For myself, the price increase will drive me away from Ont 649 to playing Lottario more.

Exactly..The Lottario is never much as far as the big prize goes and you are certainly right about ONT49..Very few winners!..I just started making a chart for ONT49..My son is stats proff. at the University so I'm letting him design one for me..Not that it will help me win more but I can always dream, right?..lol

I could use it without paying but I signed up for a month to use their stats..

Well you should be well ahead if your son is a stats prof... btw, what does he think of your playing the lottery?

Actually, here is a helpful hint I recently came across right here on this board. I didn't know this before. Numbers tend to pair together. If you can list (or some helpful person on this board will give it to you maybe) the top 30 pairs of numbers that like to hit together, there's a good chance that at least one of those pairs will hit in a draw. Sometimes more than one pair. That's how I drew up my list of numbers for tonight. I started with 36.
2/36 and 7/36 are in that bunch. (2 top hitting pairs hit in this evening's draw.) Then I scanned through the pairs list for what likes to hit with 2 & 7, and then what likes to hit with those and made decisions accordingly. This method can pay off. ;)
Anyway, keep dreaming, you never know... !

jillian1,
I checked out the site. Looks kinda fancy but too easy. Like I say, you are better off using your own stats and common sense. Actually, I'm not sure but you maybe you should edit out of your posting- i.e. get rid of it in this thread - as it may not be legal on this board - maybe I shouldn't have asked about it. Sorry.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you where I heard that rumor..I over heard it from a store owner in town here talking to someone about it.. After the guy left I asked him who the guy was being the nosey person I am..(LOL)He told me it was a lottery rep...Not sure if he was an actual lottery guy or just someone restocking his scratch tickets..He just said that he wouldn't be surprised if the ONT40 tickets went up in price..

A guy restocking the scratch tickets sounds like a lottery corp employee to me. He probably heard a rumour from the people he works with. Which means it's probably in the works.
