Gail Howard users (or maybe other commercial software users)

The following question stems from the fact that apart from the assistance of Nick Koutras’ excellent LottoStatisticsXLp’s trivial report, I wish to do most of the UK 6/49 analysis myself. I am looking at formulating theories for Gap distributions, Gap population & frequency. Not ‘delta mumbo jumbo’ or ‘gap positional limits’. There’s so many ways that the Gap information, can be presented, analysed and interpreted, I’m at risk of losing focus.

I have a generic question about Gaps data for Gail Howard users or maybe other commercial software users,

How is the Gaps analysis results presented? Is just the raw data presented for example:

21 3 4 9 8
13 5 4 8 15
15 7 4 2 12
13 1 11 3 2
1 6 7 1 2
9 13 4 1 7
8 3 2 18 2
4 10 7 2 4
8 1 2 5 8
10 12 3 3 2

Or is the raw data tabulated in someway?

ex
50% of draws had gaps of 12 or less

or for ex
25 draws had 4 gaps between 1-5
2 draws had 2 gaps between 11-15

What other options are available to view the gaps data/distribution? Please list all the analysis options available. TIA

(I really don’t need to know the actual data, just how it is tabulated/analysed, but if it’s easier you can post the gap analysis results for any 6/49 lottery.)

The above is the main display. From it one can change:
- the range of draws
- display summary for each gap (times, %, cumulative)
- display gap total values (total, times, %, cumulative)
- dislay number spread (spread, times, %, cumulative)

That's basically it. If you want to see the above chart with proper spacing use the Quote button on my post and then copy/paste into NotePad or WordPad from there.

Cheers
