I see the Euro Millions lotto has again rolled over, now c 55m gbp.

The odds of winning it remain the same.
About the same odds as saying to someone give me a call - without actually giving them your telephone number.

Yes, I am a sucker - guess I will try another 2 entries to make someone else wealthy.

Cheers..

Having all those bookies around and because of that having access to many reasonably priced lottery and other games (and also that nice 7/27 game you have there), it's OK from time to time almost surely lose some money by playing a few expensive tickets in a high odds lottery. At least, because of that many possibilities nobody might say you were forced to do it by any means for the reason of any lack of the other choices.

That nice 7/27 game? The UK daily draw where the top prize is a non life changing £30k. You also get a free go if you select no winning numbers. Both are harder to achieve than I first thought.

Back to the Euro Millions - Yet another rollover tonight [ 15/07] so I guess next Friday could be c £65m gbp.

Now this "IS" a life changing amount & perhaps worth risking a couple more lines on.

Well, I’m not sure about that . Something might be wrong with that game then..the 30k main prize is pretty small since the odds are near 1: 900.000…
Usually I would prefer lower odds lotteries, so a player might check his/her potential sum of luck first if decides so:D … It was in this thread I believe…however, from some reason nothing near good is offered in my playing area regarding the lower odds lotteries. I mean lower odds games (pick4, pick5 and such) where a player might choose his/her own numbers, and a ball machine is used…but of course, there are quite a few of those big money making very high odds lotteries :agree:.. So somehow it seems a player has no choice but play them in order to play at all
which is not that fair, in my opinion..

Well - it has just rolled over again!
Estimated jackpot now of £77m - GBP.

You have to be in it to win it:)

Well, sure you have a good reason to be into it.

In my opinion an ideal “lottery” week might look as follows : several interesting sports bets, about 20 tickets in a lower odds lottery (pick 4 , 5/35 or such) and about 5-10 tickets in a high odds lottery.

Since not having access to anything nearly similar to a regular pick 4 or 5/35 lottery and without a simple access to those bookies that offer all those beautiful numerous sports , lottery and the other games around the globe at fair ticket prices (even at few pennies if a player decides so), I quit playing lottery at all…. Playing only expensive high odds lotteries while getting sporadically 3/6 or less then sporadically a quite little paid 4/6 prize became too boring and obviously waste of time and money…

However, still searching about playing some interesting lower odds lotteries online...

tomtom,
my bets on the Euromillions lottery are pretty much dead money.
The odds c78m:1 would put most people off - but it dosen't appear to.. Sure I would like to park a new Bentley GT outside a new house - as I think most would:)

Regarding your own preferred lotteries?

I see from your other posting that you have found whill.com - there are also a number of other offshore bookies where you can just about bet on anything.

I am not sure as to the laws governing offshore betting from Canada - perhaps you would like to inform us of these.

Rgds....

Well I’m not sure about online betting regulations, and didn’t search about it…
It seems those willhill guys are validly licensed and regulated, having long history in business as it is declared at their site. So I’m just supposing it’s about the same going there and placing a few sports bets (preferably basketball, soccer, boxing, and F1) or doing it online while saving travel expenses…so, just supposing so far since haven't played yet...

Also would like to somehow come across an opportunity regarding playing some interesting lower odds lottery – 5/35 or such where player may chose own numbers and with decent prizes, and in that case would put together a desired circle – a few interesting daily sports bets (which might make my day or week better), a few daily tickets in a lower odds lottery (which might make my year or maybe more than couple of years better) and about 10 -20 tickets in the local 7/47 lottery weekly (which might be life changing)….

To give ourselves any chance of winning cash from Euromillions, the best way is to pool resources in a syndicate. The best one that I know of, where you only need ONE number correct to be in the prize money, is at:

Check it out for yourselves and see if you agree.

Best wishes,
