I am very interested to know of anyone's method of eliminating numbers which have very little chance of coming up in the following draw and its degree of accuracy. Please help you wonderful people out there and thank you very much in advance.
hello, that is what probabilities are good for.
track number distribution over a specific number of draws, and simply follow associated probability threshholds.
for example, take a pick3 game, some people run stats on the last 9draws. in such case, here are probabilities for number distribution by position at 10 draws...the number of times the same digit can be drawn in the same slot:
None 34.87%
One 38.74%
Two 19.37%
Three 5.74%
Four 1.12%
Five 0.15%
in the above scenario, it is fairly safe to bet against the same digit hittin the same slot 3 times. bettin against 4 & 5 times is almost a sure thing.
probabilities can be applied to any lottery game in a similar fashion...it works best for a small to medium sample of draws. a few weeks to about 3 months seems to be the most reasonable, depending upon how many slots & numbers are in the game.
