Do you have better chance with quick picks or marking your own numbers?

I wonder what the percentage of winners is using quick picks as compared to those who picked their own numbers? And is one state easier to win in than others? I am in TN, but have more luck in VA !

hello treejtbp, what lottery games do you play?

Most people I know enjoy lottery game analysis. They carefully create their own custom lottery picks, perhaps even playing their number pool in such a way that they get a minimum base match guarantee by using a lottery wheel template.

Other people I know play lottery the old-fashioned way, using static picks created from birthdates & anniversaries.

I don't know anyone who plays quickpicks, although I've seen people in a rush at the counter ask for $10 or $20 in quickpicks. Sometimes I'll do random picks, and this "my quickpicks" webpage is my middleground between a pool of lottery numbers & quickpicks:

Some states offer better odds on games, or better payouts. Also if fewer people are playing, it is less likely that you'll have to share the jackpot...sure the jackpot may be smaller, but it'd be all yours ifya lucky to hit it! The other day I saw FOURTEEN people win the CA Fantasy5 game...their shares amounted to about $8k each. I don't know about you, but I'd much rather win the base $50k pot all to myself, or at least share with maybe one other person so i get a respectable $25k! Anyway, some states have fixed pots so that you won't be left feelin short-changed.

cheers!

Interesting question, treejtpb,
When you have a few hours free time, the explaination of why I do not use "store bought programs" may shed some light on the position of your thinking. There is good in everything and then there is the sour taste of how come or what happened or just plain why?
Do you know what a...fizzle" is?...It's something that don't !!!!!!!

hiya teufellj,

quite right...it is best to just freestyle with your own lottery playstyle, take into account various strategies which seem to do well, and play hybrid strategy :)
