data on jackpots?

Does anyone keep track of what groups of numbers people are more likely to play and win?

For example, if the winning numbers skip the 40's, are there more winners because people play birthdays?
Or if the sequence 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42 (multiples of 7) came up, would there be more winners for a jackpot?
When people pick numbers, do they tend to pick one from the single digits, one from the teens, 20's, etc, so that when the winning numbers are like the ones from last night, an even spread, could you predict that someone would win it?

Any thoughts?

Birthday numbers

If you use only numbers 1 to 31, you will be able to generate 736,281 combinations or only 5.27% of all 13,983,816 combinations.

For Lotto 6/49, with 2,189 draws, there have been 97 winning combinations or 4.43% with only number 31 and lower.

With 2,189 draws or 0.016% of all possible combinations, very few combinations have shown a definite pattern. The only one I have found up to now is draw #670 on June 23, 1990. You might want to look it up.
