Copy and Paste how to

I've tried copying and pasting results data from one column between two other columns without success, as all three columns become hi lited.
Is there a trick to doing this?

Thanks Blitzed,
I did what you said using Notepad . I was able to edit the data in Notepad, then copy and paste the results data to Pick3Stats.
I will try to read all your posts and learn some more.
