Hi All

I'm under a "Black President" since 1994, the only problem I have is that their perseption of the "LAW" does not meet my perseption of the law.

You have entered a new fase, make sure the "LAW" is the "LAW" please

Thank you, bloubul, for any U.S. citizens not answering this commentary or until they do. Either way as you put it we are entering into a new phase in many ways. In my sixty-five years, I personally have seen; a Catholic president; an assination of a U.S. president; a Polish pope; a man on the moon; a physical attack by a foreign nation on our shores; and now a negro President! In this last, color means nothing to me unless it's in money form. What does matter is this man's abilities to get things rolling again. His chores are great especially with a "Lame Duck" congress and "business as usual" attitudes that have caused much stress and anxiety. Though His heritage is of black national citizenry, he dares not to lean too far in any one direction which will cause turmoil and total distrust for anyone of any color for the future of our nation.

Let's compare Obama's "popularity" with a "good pint of beer" (sorry guys, but I am from Belgium)
When you hear senator Obama, you wanna hear more, and more, and more...
When you drink a good beer, you wanna have one more, and one more, and one more...
Anybody knows that when you drink too much, you're gonna end up with a big hang-over.
I fear that anybody who enjoyed the Obama-overdose will end up with an even bigger hang-over.
That being said, I congratulate Senator Obama. Hope he does a good job. If he doesn't, we're all doomed.

Hello,
I do not subscribe to any type of popularity contest for anything. I am and always have been a "meat and potatoes type person. I like my beer as well as any profound imbiber does and know too well the extent of a hangover.
As yet, I cannot do a proper comparison but my gamblers notion of who or what is seemingly good has kicked in a while back. Popularity contests to me are nothing but ego trips. Insanity now is a different story. I think that a person must be nuts to want to run for Presidency or kinkship or Pope or Czar! Coupled with those desires there must in my opinion be some inflation of the ego desire to lead. Granted that the Pope is elected by a council of Cardinals but does that person want the job or is he subscribing to peer pressure? The same can be said for Mr. Obama. What I alluded to in my last post is the fact that our new president dare not lean too far in one direction or the other. Were we to argue this case on its merits of race alone it would amount to...white peer pressure vs. black peer pressure. Personally speaking,
this man has an unfathomable set of problems on the homefront let alone on the world front I am dealing out vaguaries because it's just too early to speak my future thoughts.
"...Hope he does a good job. If he doesn't, we're all doomed....!"
Talk with you folks later,
Teufellj...
