Can we predict the lotto?

Lately, there has been some very interesting discussion on this forum concerning whether or not we can use the past history of lotto draws to predict the next draw. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions:

Yes you can, but whether you can reduce a prediction down to one set of six numbers is different matter altogether.

I find this a very interesting topic.I have been studying past numbers in the 6/49 draw and found that some numbers are indeed hot.However,it seems like in any drawing there seems to have a mix of hot and cold numbers.Have not yet figured out a definite pattern.

In response to this Old Thread Icewynd, I believe we can narrow down the numbers to be between 10 and 15. Which I would say gives a fighting chance.
