I've been itchin to go back and throw money around, but hasn't been in the cards. I'd like to see some new sites, and of course eat all the delicious food & hot sauces, wash it down with Singha beer or icecold watermelon juice, wander around and hit up the pushcart peddlers that sell fresh pineapple, watermelon, mango, MMM!
Thailand is awesome, except Bangkok can be funky at night, with rivers of exhaust swirlin around my knees, and crazy tuk-tuks zippin around. I wonder if the street peddlers are still sellin Osama bin Laden tshirts ha! knockoffs of crappy designers stuff like VonDutch. It almost all bootleg stuff...hard to find native handicrafts or the good silks. went to a village that had aaamaaazing wood carvings. Floating market is pretty much a tourist trap, but fun cruisin the canals in the souped up hoopty boats that use what look like car engines for outboard motors...the guy guns it and it is more like a hydrofoil haha!

Thailand is fun, plenty of very friendly people...and amazing ancient temples, fantastic varieties of orchids, top quality gold, gems, etc. neat watchin gemcutters & wood carvers. I'll definately never be able to make out the squiggly sign there. Oh, and the overhead powerlines can look crazy, hangin very low in some places...I'm 6'3" and sometimes I felt the need to duck when I walked under them...especially with the humidity there!
