As always you guys are correct.
On july 14 2004 the server hosting company that I have leased from over the past 3 years, moved to "better" servers, dual processors etc.
Well it has been a nightmare since then.
Yesterday early in the morning, on oct 5 the proverbial staw landed with the experience of another "unable to connect to server" message. - "server needs a reboot" - "spammer got into the server" - "script was in a loop and out of control" - "dos attack" .. yeah, yeah, yeah .. whatever.
On Oct 5, I purchased new leasing services from another, hopefully more joyfull company. But who knows as the internet is certainly not the place it was in 1994. It is now all about money and bandwidth overload and spam and attacks ... etc ... etc. ... OK end of vent.
We are moving to a new home but that won't be right today. I have 104 web sites to manually move, many with scripts hooked up to databases. As at this time today i have set up accounts for 18 of the refugees. lotto649.ws will be the last one I move not just because it is a personal/non client site but also because it has the biggest db.
I'll keep everyone posted as to when the move to a brighter future will occur.
