Best Performing Set test results

Hi guys,

This is what I have found so far for Best Performing Set;

Best category seems to be 3.

I have got a 5 number hit and 2 x 4 number hits.

Have yet to try Category set to 34.

Category 4 seems to bring in a couple of results. So will try a setting of 34.

Best trial setting seems to be 2000.

Very rare to change best set above 1000 trials so set to 2000 for the odd one.

Duration I left as 30 draws.

Looked at increase number cover from 12 all the way upto 20 - not much difference. Please note I did not try this with category 3. Only category 4.

Below are the top results I achieved but note that all the cat 3 test bought in results for 12 number cover.

So the rest of my testing will be based on category 3 and 34 with 2000 trials and still 30 draws. Numbers covered will be from 9 to 20 with the main emphasis being on 12 number cover.

The above is only a fraction of the test results but seemed to be the most consistent.

Trials 2000, Duration 30, Category 3, Set size 12 or 15.

I dont know if I have made the results obvious.

But if you look at the Best set of numbers you will notice at the end of them is a list of the draws they hit on with the numbers that hit.

I got the BPS from draw 2016 to 2045.

And compared them to draw 2046 to 2050.

Yes Irvin I saw that and didn't reply because nothing to say ... till now.

You found very good results ... but sometimes a group of 3 numbers happening in a draw can be within a lot of groups made by means of different settings.

This has been yet *discovered* in other strategies and that makes us to think about common numbers among different sets.

Let's see what future draws teach us ...

I have been running the tests over 10 years of data and all the results come up with a consecutive wad of numbers,

while if i leave it on 50 or so draws the numbers are more spread out


oh i see catogaory is what win u want, like 6 out of the 18 or 4 out of the 18. it maximizes those results.

I have for catagory 6

expected 2.6
best observed 18
times better 6
set size 15


also for set 18
expected 8.2
best observed 37
times better 3.5


it looks to me that the method is pulling out the most poular drawn numbers.


this is the sort of tool i am really excited about. is the ntuplets a way of looking for the highest matching pairs, tripplets quads?

that'd be so sweet.

Sorry I did not keep the test results for group C and D.

But these are the settings;

Duration = 30 draws.

Start Draw 2050.

Trials = 2000

Category = 3

Number cover = 12

Group C and D were my predictions for draw 2051 (Thanks for the results Frank)

And I see Group C had a 3+B hit.

I dont think you should set the categories so high. try 3 or 34.

Probably wouldnt go so far back with the draw history either.

o oki get it now, i was puzzling over 57 and 34 , for catagory then low numbers like 3 or 4. then irealize its 5 to 7 or 3 and 4 or just 3 or just 4.


anyhoo i did test on

trial 500

set 16
cat 3

and reuslts where

expected 97.4
best observed 115
times better 0.2

pretty desultory

out here in oz we dont get paid for hits of 1 2 or 3, we need 3+b or better so 4 out of so i'll run a 46 cat next

Hello Savagegoose,

Dont worry I'm just across the ditch from you guys, NZ.

What you might want to do is start your test from a couple of draws back and then test them to see how good the picks are.

Example if the last draw for your game is 100 then set the start draw 2 back say 98 and set duration to 30, cat 3, numbers 12, trials 2000.

Get a couple of "BEST sets so far"

And then compare them to draw 99 and 100 to see how close you were.

Once you have found settings you are happy with try for an upcoming draw.

i did what you said, and 2 weeks ago came up with 5+b !!!!



still it would have involved wheeling 14 numbers and i dont now many weeks i can afford to lose $50 a week

umm and a few weeks earlier 5 numbers.

im so sad i may cry.

gotta satisfy myself that i am unlikely to do a big enough wheel to get all 5 or 5+b out of 14 numbers,.


well im off to cover master to see what sort of cover i can get for my price range.

Try a 4if4 wheel.

For 12 numbers I think you are looking at 40 to 44 lines?

For a 12 number 5 of 6 wheel you are looking at 38 lines.

Not sure what 14 numbers is.

There is a web site Peters wheels. If you go to the free lotto stuff link at the bottom of this page you should find a link to Peters lotto wheels.

You can cut and paste these and check the guarantee with Covermaster.

I stumbled onto a nice 12 # BPS for BC49, won't post it here since you're testing CN49 but if you're interested check my posts in Provincials. It got 3/12 in 5 of 7 draws so far, not spectacular but has a consistency I have never matched bfr ... Kudos to Nick's prog

I'm trying a new set (12;30:'3) to put in test next draw. However, we must be patient because other configurations can hit 4 numbers in a glance ...
