I would like a responce to my emails to your office. and I am very disapointed with the lack of concern to the complaint(s) i filed with the Calottery Commission, Orange County Fair Guests Services Commitee, local Calottery Regional office in S.A. Ca. I spoke with Steve at the Sacramento Hdqs. Law Enf. Div. July 29 04 at 9am. I told Steve about the incidents I reported on July 28 04 reg inciden 1 on July 26 & 2nd on July 28 I asked him to record our conversation of my complaint. He told me would and told me to go to the SAna Ca. Reg. off. and see Mr. Herm Dustmann (RSM) immed. There POINT man in So Cal. I was suprised by Steves tone Quote " No Ph call just go." en quote. Wow! I thought great He took notice. Steve who happens to be the man @ Calottery LAW ENF.DIV, I called and left a message with Mr.Dustmann and appt was made. that same afternoon I am not going waste Mr Dustmann or my time, I make appointments. Especially when it is in reguards to money, my money. and the business we have done together. This way my concerns would be validated and time was needed to make sure the lottery official understand the unquestionable potencial of loss this may have caused. This by far was not a laughing matter. and. I have had 3 meetings with Mr. Dustmann Friday July 29 2004 in his private office while the OCfair was still on. for about a hour, Then on Tuesday afternoon August 2 2004 in the Regional office lobby for about half a hour then finnally on late Friday August 5 2004 in the lobby again to discuss the issues he said he was so very concerned to get the whole story and contact me. Right. My patience is way over in a answer to these issues as your investigations if any been reviewed as of this date August 21 2004 nearly a month since I first reported and filed this comlaint has the Calottery responded to me officially, responcibly, and most of all professionally as Mr Dustmann promised to quote "Get back to me soon" You will be hearing from me soon" end quote. It's not just hearsay I recorded our meetings for memory purposes only.as of todays date August 20 2004 I still have yet to here from the Calottery Orange County or Sacramento headquarters about the outcome to the investigations to the incident(s) July 26 2004 and July 28 2004 pertaining to the California State lottery sales booth and its Unfair Business Practices. I have submitted several complaints to all of the above departments timely and as the incidents occurred. I followed all the legitimate steps that were at my disposal that were given to me during the time these incidents took place. As a public civilian and tax payer taking time off to enjoy the Orange County Fair. along with his family and friends I would think that the state would appreciate that I took notice to follow the correct path as oppose to finding a resolve that could of been argumentive or some other form of disobediance that would of been innapropriate at a County Fair. May i remind you that the fair , The County Fairs especially bring a sence of summer calm its suppose to be a happy time and usually is. The community togetherness and appreciation of our lives amongst our neighbors in our communities, It is a time of both education and achievements and credits to a year of progress. and of course the rides and games are top flight. The cost to enjoy this atmosphere is not low withparking and all but soon after you park that car and get through the turnstyles the cost of entry immediatly seems to disapeers. The marvel and expertise and magic of a County Fair Is simply Joyous is the word .The County Fair is that time of year that time stands still just long enough that we stand still in our busy and hectic So Cal lifstyles we indure. We reflect and take notice. to our world around us and each other. This is definitly neither the time or place to be a part or party too grief or sorrow or strife or unplesantries this is not the place or time. So YES I took notice!. and bit my lip and tounge to follow the correct path of obediance in the events that would make many people very angry. in connection to the incident(s) that happened on these dates. How am i to explain to my children when asked as they do ask about whatever became of this or that how doing the right thing amounts to what "no action". I need a responce to the complaint(s) Mr. Herm Dustmann (Calottery) had assured me. He said he was concerned and looking into the matter, But he had to get the othersides story, collect data etc, I agree of course I asked him to save any and all video and voice surveilence during those dates to review for evidence that my story is valid and true. Well that data collecting time has passed and so has this so called investigation. I can tell you from my side its not a big detective story its black or white not even grey however i do have some evidence in color.. I have a home video, my daughter was using that we brought with us on July 28 that show that incident along with my reported complaint and its quite clear I was being banned from playing a Calottery game while other fair goers enjoyed that expeiriance. The Calottery and its Comittees need to TAKE NOTICE that I am not going to go away ever. Until these issues are resolved after all I voted lake everyother californian tax payer who voted to bring the Lottery here more of a explanation as well as apoligies to dismiss this as It is there RIGHT to to reject service to anyone they feel they want to that they ndon't need a reason. That's plain poppycock There right to refuse' It doesnt have merit here not in this case i mean after spending nearly $1,000 cash at the Calottery booth in less then 10 hours didn't show they had no problem with serving me then what does. This Gentlemen hired to provide us the chance of a lifetime to believe in the possibilities that dreams do come true has the authority to awaken us from our dreams better have a powerful and valid explanation then what i've recieved as of posting which is zip, nada, zilch. That there better be a explanation to how and why one person "Jeff" the person in charge of working and managing that Calottery insignia booth can ban me from continuing my invited customer participation in playing. I have tried to understand why or how this could of been possible please anybody explain! I need to know the proceedures as to how legally this was exceptable. After all i was working a few packs of the scrathers games at a continuios beet!!! gambling about $20 dollars every 5 to 10 minutes for nearly 10 hours straight that was on July 26 that is when at around 6:30 pm Jeff banned me from playing my scrathers game packs. I was working dilegently on my bets, I meen if your a gambler you know what i am saying I WAS WORKING! I came here to this booth like every year to this booth TO PLAY! clearly i was determined by my style of playing that day to be able cover my bets on the packs I had been working what by now had become quite a investment to me. my pace was fierce at times to be able to get every ticket from a few of those investment/scratcher packs. So i hope any sane gambler if there are any can understand my quiet but horrific frustration to the situation this "Jeff" had just remanded me with. even after my repeated attempt to purchase more scrathers from certain packs i had been vested in as well as my honest questions as to why and how he was doing this to me were left on deft ears as he turned away my requests for a valid reason on what his name was , his position, title if any , his superiors , who govrrns his work habits who at the lottery hdqts. i could talk too to get the answers i deemed necessary to validate his discontinuing my playing . I got "NOTHING " but a smug look with a reply from him that quote "i govern me", "I am the superior", It's my show" end quote. " Yes I know it is all hearsay even though other fairgoers gave me there phone numbers as witness to the facts still they will call it hearsay. So gambler This is it! He took my slot machine away after pumping in close to $1000 so to speak". Worse of all i returned on July 28 and without just cause just plain as video day prejutice again refused my money and betting on the scratchers game to my face to the camera and to the other fairgoers worst of all to my family nearby who were present on that July 28th evening. This is on video and worded on the reports i submitted to i hope the appropriate agencies. The lack of concern is very unproffessional from top of this large orginazation at the core and to the bottom. Like it doesn't matter! Me just one guy, son, father, brother, friend. To have the nerve to insult me again as to my integrity to think and hope by not responding to these issues would work in there favor that to dismiss this as nothing and wish me or it to fade or go away. Well they are wrong I am a strong believer in right and wrong to how our tax dollars and votes count and on this issue i won't backdown as they hope i would I NEED YOUR SUPPORT! I can't backdown from ignorance until I get a answer which should be a "SUSTAIN" answer in favor to my complaint(s) if it will really be investigated like i was told it would be. Had I been able to play myself out of those scratcher packs i had been WORKING i still had a grand in cash left in my pocket that i was betting on this much advertised and public lottery game. I have every right to play these games like every other Californian taxpayer and to told When I can play or re was no founded reason why my lottery play was interupted by this one individual I have yet to hear of any as of this posting This "Jeff" Who is he to pick and choose who play HIS game.
