Anyone playing in a syndicate?

Does anyone play 6/49 in a syndicate, lotto group or pool? I am thinking that this might be a good way to keep playing when I am travelling and can't buy tickets.

I looked into one, but they weren't willing to share how they were picking the tickets, they only played when the JP went over $25M, and they kept a lot of money in reserve in case people wanted to cash in their shares, so they only used the cash from the group's small winnings to buy about 100 tickets. That's not much leverage.

I just looked into the one, so I'm not sure if this is normal or if there are better options around.

If anyone has some experience to share, I sure would appreciate it. :thumb:

hiya, you might check some social networks...I've even seen lotto syndicate group on Facebook for California.

yup, you are right, this one group I saw plays a full 5pick slip of quickpicks for 20weeks.

heck with that, if I was gonna play random I'd do it with a set of Full Spectrum picks so that the whole numberfield would at least be in play.

anyway, I think lotteries should get with the time and allow subscribing online to play...like ifya have one special pick that you'd like to play on every draw for the entire year, you'd be able to do it, and at a discount...they are missing an opportunity to rake in revenue they otherwise would not get.

Well, I could get an advance play or a subscription if I wanted to play a set of static numbers.

What I'd prefer is to find a syndicate that picks new numbers for each draw based on some of the good ideas you see floatin' around here.

hiya Icewynd, yup I agree...I like to tinker with the numbers before every draw too.

say I played a pick for 14 consecutive draws, the whole time I'd be thinkin "what if" I had been analyzing recent draws? did I miss out on better hits?

on the flipside though, sometimes tinkering can go against me:rolling: if there are quirky short term draw events.
